I really hope this isn't the career determining injury. Kell has just won me as a fan. Despite getting hurt early in the 1st, he showed massive heart standing up to the monster. He could've easily gone down like Charles Martin and collect his paycheck but no, he looked the danger in the eyes, took the punches, stood it like a man and dished some back. In the short post interview he expressed his frustration of the stoppage and would rather have gone out on his shield. "Let me get knocked out" were his words iirc. And I believe him. If I was a believer I'd say a prayer but I hope he recovers quickly. I can't wait to see him run through 154 division.
Brave effort, but he aint running through 154, he'd have problems with a lot of guys in there. Lets not forget this GGG was probably the most reckless GGG i've seen so far, he just rushed in and was swinging all over the place. He had no respect for Kells power and just wanted to make it a rough dog fight. He didn't feint, set anything up so it was easy for Kell to ride and block some of those shots. If that GGG shows up against Canelo he'd lose.
Operation next week so I can only assume they are wanting the swelling and brushing to go down some. I think he'll be fine, will need to rest up and heal.
Canelo dont have the speed or reactions to get out the way of those wild swings. Hes just a fat spineless turd
Same here man. Eye injurys are always bad news. Most fighters never fully return 100 percent after an eye surgery. The last thing i want to see is a highly talented fighter Kell Brook return as damaged goods. I just became a fan dammit, i beg this doesnt happen lol
His combination speed is actually very good. His defense is actually pretty good, if u actually see his head movement body movement against Cotto and Khan you'd know. GGG has 0 headmovement and walks in straight lines towards Kell, but then again he didn't feel his power so can't blame him.
