Being that the news dropped that he rejected an HBO approved offer to fight Miguel Cotto to headline an HBO PPV, I'd say he once again reconfirms what he has reconfirmed time and time again his whole career... There is not "we'll soon find out." We already know.

I don't care about mandatory challengers. But some on here worship them to an extreme.

Personally I'd rather a boxer always fight the better opponent as I don't care about ABCDEFG rankings or ABCDEFG belts very much.

He could fight Cotto on HBO PPV in June.

But it's confirmed he turned that down, too.

Rubbish, Hearn said yesterday that they would "swim across the pond" to get that fight. No way would he turn that down.

Oh please. You read it on the internet and you come with the logic it must be true.

Did cotto rocnation or HBO confirm this story. No they never!

HBO said they would love to make the fight and asked if kell would fight cotto in June and of course they said yes.

Eddie hearn then spoke with rocnation and said they want to make the fight.

Rocnation and cotto showed no interest though.

    That's the real story.

Kell Brook and Amir Khan both lost the opportunity for a good payday (and more for the winner) by not fighting each other. Khan will lose to Alvarez and I don't see Brook beating the top-5 in the 147 division.

As others have said that just isnt true. Brook would chop his right arm off for a Cotto fight. He would beat him convincingly too.

But if he did not take them mandatories and dropped the belt Spence would now not be kells mandos
    The standards are double
You can't have it both ways either kell fights his mandos to maintain his title or he does not
