I'd give Brook more sh*t about his opposition post winning a title however the rest of the playing field are fighting below their mark as well....can't create that double standard now.
I would Give Kell Brook the Best chance out of the lot at 147lb, He is the goods, and believe me Floyd will have no part of him, after all he went to America made history, took the IBF world belt off at the time undefeated Shawn porter, maybe just maybe he could take the other 3 off Floyd. What a fete that would be, Undisputed World champion Kell Brook, Rule Britainia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Special1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hater/troll alert.... its also a very clear indication that the OP knows **** all about boxing..... so well done
Brook is clearly not elite due to the opponents he has faced but I think his fans are more making the case that he has the talent and ability to be elite. Your points are kind of invalid, IF it went on another minute he would have been KO'd by Carson Jones, well its a 12 round fight, need I say anymore? Beat Porter in a reasonably close fight, not at all controversial and Brook was clearly the superior fighter in the ring on the night. One title defence was a mandatory, at least he defends against his mandatories and doesn't find ways of getting out of them, the other yes it was a poor opponent.
Brook is probably the 2nd best welterweight in the world right now. Who do people have above Brook besides Many and Pac??
Thurman obviously. Right now he's more established and naturally ranks higher, but can't say he's necessarily better until they sort it out in the ring.
probably the best thread on this forum hit all the points...and i like how people believe he will fight the best.......eddie hearn is not stupid......they will never make brook vs thurman.........they are trying to get a fight with a walking punching bag next, giving him pillow gloves to wear and few pounds to come over......
Completely disagree, Thurman has a best win of Guerrero, Brook has a best win of Porter? Porter is a better fighter than Guerrero, Thurman is also stuck in terms of what kind of fighter he wants to be, Puncher or boxer, he seems to want to show that he is a top class boxer but in reality he isn't as he throws his shots too wide, but his biggest assets point towards the fact that he should be more of a puncher that boxes a bit as a pose to the other way around
Porter might be a better single win, but besides Guerrero there are solid guys like Chaves, Bundu and Karass as well compared to Brook's Dan or Gavin. Thurman's overall opposition was better. Right now it's only logical to rank him higher, but as I said, it cannot be truly decided until they face each other.
spot on:good although i am a Thurman fan as well....Errol Spence could easily break into top 5 WWs imo....the division is falling to bits
