The unbeaten Sheffield welterweight’s contract with boxing promoter Frank Warren runs out shortly and negotiations are on-going.
But until they are complete, news of any major contest is unlikely to be announced.

Brook’s trainer, Dominic Ingle, said: “I have no idea when Kell will box next; it will have to wait until he has negotiated a deal.”

This would be the wrong time to move - he'll sign.

Wouldn't be surprised if he leaves Ingles and goes back to Coldwell and signs with Hayemaker. Kell hasn't helped himself but Warren's let his career plateau just as Fat Mick did with Murray. Couldn't blame him for leaving. Fact he doesn't sell a ticket doesn't help him.

the reason he left coldwell was because of his contract with warren, he enjoyed working with dave and he didn't want to move so maybe with his contract being up he will go back to him.

I think his career is well and truly in limbo.

He might be best served going to the States and trying his luck over there.

Very true....but i do feel that Warren is going to line him up with a decent name soon. He has to, its not as if he's being held back so Warren can milk him(like Hatton for eg), so im sure Frank is just as frustrated

Be the wrong time to move, he should give it another yr IMO

Frank can land him a World title fight with an easy route but going to America will mean having to take a much harder one. If he is, as I believe and as many on here do, quite over-rated then the best option is to stay with Frank Warren. If he really is as good as others believe then he has nothing to lose by venturing over to the states and will become a very successful fighter.

you would be suprised how well thought off Brook is in the states. Obviously only known by 1% of fans but those that do know him really like him.

You may beleive he is over rated, so might Frank. But i doubt Kell feels that way. If Warrens offer to him is vacant titles and defences like Burns has been happening, Kell may think **** it. Sign with Goldenboy like Macklin has they could get him a fight with various fighters.

He is clearly not happy with his career progression. Remember how he celebrated his win agasint McIntrye. We havent seen that from him in his recent fights.

Kell is good mates with Ryan Rhodes. He will have seen Warren get Rhodes 2 title shots but at the wrong weight then throw him to the scrap head, and mess him around for year afterwards.

He is in a division with 2 weak champions but Frank is waiting around for Manny Pacquiao to get striped....as if the WBO will give up there percentage of allot of money.

kinda hard to deliver when he's number 1 contender to Pacuqiao's title and isn't ranked by the other 3.

Considering Kell might not even be that good, the reputation he has garnered with the opponents he has faced leads me to think Frank has done pretty well for him in the last two years.
