    Thoughts from the british forum

I honestly think he still beats everybody but Spence

Spence is a speciman, super talented, no shame in losing to him.
I think Brook is too physical for the likes of Crawford and Thurman.

Those guys wont stand up to Brooks power and skills.

154 though was a bad, bad fit. Despite Hearn claiming Brook is a natural 154 and even 160lber (LOL), Brook was badly outsized by the champs and would have got a hell of a beating if he stepped up.

147 he can and will be a champ again if he really wants it,

Doesn't really matter to be honest because the only guy he wants to fight at 147 is Khan. I'll tune in when it fights someone worth a damn again

I’d like to see brook vs Garcia

It’s a good fight and winnable for Brook

Garcia, Thurman, was it Vargas who had the WBO? At one time just before Spence arrived he could have been in fights with most of the other belt holders. Instead a silly fight against GGG and he's now looking at beating Khan to earn a pay day and possibly a bump into a world title fight. Strange strange career

I actually think khan would give brook a lot of problems until he switches off and gets countered big style, I’m happy to see that fight and then brook in with Garcia, Thurman and even porter again

I don’t want to see brook jumping up and down in weight against poor opponents

Apart from his mandatory (Spence), Hearn has failed over many years to get him in the ring with any of these.

it was Vargas. after brexit and the £ collapse the numbers just didnt add up. bob arum confirmed that! kell would have had to take very little money.

also garcia was offered a fight vs brook before and his team refused.

Brook had trouble getting big fights at 147 with the belt so I still think it could be a problem. if he beats Khan then porter may give him a rematch. spence fight isnt good for kell with the rehydration clause.

I still think 147 is the right move, yes he has wasted the last year but the guys @ 154 are too big. Kell saw it up live himself.

Im tired of hearing this Brook nonsense, he would get annihilated at 147 by Thurman, Spence, Garcia and Crawford and those fights are simply not going to happen anyway. I’m glad he didn’t go upto 154 either, as there was nothing but beat downs up there against Hurd and Charlo etc.

He needs to get the Khan fight and then win or lose, call it a day - that goes for both of them. 2019 should be a year where Eddie pensions off washed up fighters like Khan, Brook, Price, Burns, Cardle etc and makes way for the new blood.

But I thought he put the 154 division on notice? He loses to all the champs at 147 and 154.
Probably the worst-managed career in recent times, considering his talent.

i dont think there is a problem with kell realizing that 154 would be a bad move. them guys are too big. look at the size of hurd for example.

Kell has already beaten Porter (although it was very close) and stylistically it is still not a bad match up. I'd give him a great shot at doing it again. Porter is fit, strong and awkward. He gets on the inside and out works blokes. Porter is not a big puncher at all though.

I don't think people are giving credit for how hard Spence and GGG hit. Ffs they hit like trucks. Porter won't come close to breaking Kells face and obviously he can't out muscle Kell.

Garcia is an easy fight for Kell. Low out put and small. I don't give him much chance in hell tbh. Kell will whoop him.

Crawford and Thurman are very tough fights and Kell will be an underdog but he still has great shots in both. I can't see how he has any chance against Hurd and Charlo. Munguia won't fight him until he's ready and by then I'd say he walks over Kell too.

Kell Brooks career has been the biggest disaster for a UK boxer in a generation....There is no point going over the injuries ,bad match ups, discipline etc....

I was his biggest fan and was convinced he was about to take over the hottest division in boxing at the time after beating Porter....The rest is history

    Retire

I would give him a advantage against all but maybe Crawford. People don't understand against Spence he was cutting soooo soo much weight was ill 2 times had to cut sparring and 3 days before weigh in was a zombie struggling with the weight in suanas. He was dead at the weight that day. I have seen him 3 times on weigh in and he looked ill that day. Also the 10lb hydration limit takes it out of him. With a good camp and no hydration limit he be fine. That's why he will stay 147 as only he knows best.

Brook's run is over and surely the PPV Mugths don't pay for a very stale fight at least 5 years after the sell by date.

Fought 2 elite fighters, was found not to be 'special' and he is only around to milk the PPV mugths dry.
