Margarito said his eye was fine, too. Begged to be licensed and even got a doctor's note for the NYSAC. What happened? Started swelling almost immediately in the Cotto rematch.

That was in either the first or second round. And Cotto couldn't get Paulie out of there. Which, given that Cotto was blowing everyone out at 140 up until that point, says a lot about Paulie's heart and ability to hold a shot.

Going into that fight, a lot of people (myself included) thought of him as a powderfuff who would get mauled by Cotto. Suffice to say, he won himself a ton of respect on the night.

Well said. There are probably still some who complain that Dominic Ingle jumped in way too early. I personally thought the stoppage was perfectly timed and completely warranted, as Golovkin was hammering Brook on the ropes, and Brook was taking a lot of flush shots and barely throwing anything in return.

As has been said here already, Dominic Ingle pretty much saved Kell Brook's career: had he taken two or three more hard shots on the broken orbital bone, he might well have completely lost the sight in his right eye. That's the reality of the situation.

    MYTH
'When you first break a bone, the area surrounding the break forms a callus that hardens and remodels itself into new bone, repairing the fracture. This temporarily makes the fracture site stronger than the surrounding area of the bone, but becomes of equal strength after the healing process has occurred.'

he detached his retina too though.Malignaggi broke his eye socket in the cotto fight. He went on to fight 22 times after this and never had an issue as far as i'm aware. He also took a 12 round beating on it, brook was out of there in 5

I thought Cotto broke Paulie's jaw, not orbital bone.

How did they TEST this? Did they try to replicate the injury via the same amount of force and cause? How can they say it's as strong as before without trying to break it again?

But G is clean? I notice a trend with you! For all the guys you call cheats, it suprises me you don't question G's cleansliness.

Golovkin power is unreal how its extremely hard to break someone's orbital bone with 10 oz gloves

Brook will never be the same, but spence is so over hyped that he is still going to give him a hell of a fight. Hopefully the eye doesn't break again. Cotto did not break paulies eye socket, he broke his jaw. And cotto was a monster at that weight class.

So! If I can play devil's advocate, is it possible that G is gaming the system? Please understand, if someone made claims that G is a cheat with little to no proof, then I would protest, much like I do in cases like that! Seph7 has called Spence a cheat l, he has called Jacobs a cheat and yet they have looked far less destructive than G. G has done incredible things in his career. A 9 year KO streak? Who does that? Yet Seph7 says nothing, no raised eyebrows, just praise. Interesting!

You really don't have a case at all. VADA has demonstrated that they are the gold standard. They haven't repeatedly messed up or been shady as hell like USADA. Highly suspected juicers have ducked VADA (Roidquez and IVayweather) have ducked VADA. VADA is simply the closest thing to a guarantee of a clean athlete. Abel Sanchez allowed Jean Pascal to train at Big Bear, but retracted his offer when he found out Pascal was working with Memo Heredia.

Spence's puffed up, swoll nips is an indicator that he's doping. It's a side effect of doping.
