I am one of the guys who thinks Alexander would be very tricky for Kell due to the styles. Ignore the Porter knockdown by Broner it was a flash Kell had Porter far more hurt in their fight than he ever was against Broner. Plus Porter was drained for the wieght meaning come the end of the fight he woulda been far less resistent. IMO Khans performance against Alexander will look far better than that of Kell's (if they fight) still think Brook KO's Khan mind you. and just for the sake of it both Kell and Khan destroy Broner (more so Khan i think) however Kell could possibly stop Broner
He was a top fighter at 140 and has a solid resume but I think he is shop worn now and is physically overmatched at 147, his recent form is also poor for getting a final eliminator. Though I agree Devon on points is the probable outcome, I hope Chaves can pull it off and get a nice pay day.
I like chavez always comes to fight and can punch but has been unlucky vs bradley and rios. I think brook beats both on points after he ud rios.
Porter was cleary more hurt against Broner than he was against Brook. Porter was in very big trouble in round 12 he was never badly hurt against Brook.
Very much have to agree there, however taking off them extra 3lbs may have played havoc with Porters punch resistance, remember this is a dude whos walking weight is about 80kg. Alexander v Brook would be a competitive fight imo
not that i seen the knockdown from Broner was a flash kd. Porter didnt look wobbled in the slightest more embarassd and shocked he went down i think. Brook caught Porter twice that had him buzzed one of them brought wobbley legs. You should maybe watch the fight back bud cos it def happened. Porter certainly wasnt in very big trouble, not at all against Broner
I was saying even if he did not he would, I think he would comfortably beat Alexander over 12 rounds, I don't think it would be a huge statement if he did though, yet Amir seemed to act like domination Devon was like he had beaten a prime Ali
Chavez put up a decent fight against Rio,Thurman and Bradley and if he beats Alexander it makes him one of the toughest WW out there... love to see Brook v Chaves
Chaves is underrated. He was beating Brandon Rios until he got DQ'd and got a draw with Tim Bradley which he hasn't got enough credit for. Alexander beat Maidana easily but really struggled with Matthysse so its hard to judge how well he'll do against this sort of style.
Happy with this, really ccan't stand Jo Jo Dan type no hopers. Hopefully there is no controversy in the fight and we have a clear winner. Kells career has been frustrating since he won the title, big names who won't be around for much longer- Mayweather, Pac, Marquez, Bradley (moving up). He could be making a great resume and legacy.
Bradley vs Brook would be an epic fight. A chance of Ingle gym retribution for Witter's loss to Bradley all those years back. I'd favour Bradley on points, even in Sheffield.
I do think Bradley is a hard match up for Brook, his combination of fast hands, work rate and mobility would cause him lots of problems, but it would make a great fight. I think Brook winning would depend on him getting off to a good start and hurting Bradley early then mixing it up with him a little bit. Definitely think Bradley will be wary of getting hurt but don't think he would be able to stop Brook. It's up there with the no.1 fights I would like to see, as well as being the best fight out there for Brooks career. If he can get a clear win then the whole division has to take notice.
This The Brook/Bradley fight would be my number 1 choice, it really ticks all the boxes for both fighters and would be great to watch
