Lets just clear this up quickly, Khan fought Malignaggi and Maidana in the states before he decided he wanted a fight in the UK in front of his fans, thats why Lamont negotiations fell through, he didnt want to come over to the UK, so Khan ended up fighting McCloskey. He fought in America in his 24th fight. Kells going to be fighting his 28th fight in the UK again. Enough said.

Khan has been popular since he was 17 and had the popularity and expectations from a very young age. He didn't need to build up his fan base so was lucky in that sense.
With Kell Brook he is taking his time coming up just like how a fighter should, unlike Khan (Prescott + Peterson).

Kell needs another fight in the UK before going to America, he's got more than enough time and is more established at 147 than Khan is.

Listen he fought Galarza and whooped him in America. He needs to fight more in the UK before headlining an event in America.

Also Khan talks about Brook way more, its obvious Khan is intimidated of him, but Brook is taking it easy whilst Khan is the one who is looking like an idiot.

Khan vs Berto and Khan vs Brook is pretty close in regards to worldwide, the problem with all these fighters is that they are not that well known, Khan vs Brook would be MASSIVE here, so it's most likely the better fight.

 

I don't blame him for turning down Alexander. Even if Brook wins it still wouldn't look good with all of Alexander's smothering.
