Kell showed incredible skill and bravery. Does GGG think he can't be hurt?

First off, Brook was magnificent. He frustrated GGG, made him miss and landed some great shots. These punches have been easily KO'ing (mediocre) WWs.

Although he landed a few absolute peaches of punches on Golovkin, he didn't really hurt him in my opinion. He got his attention, yes, and he felt them but GGG doesn't seem to respect anyone's power. On the other hand, you could see Brook was getting broken down (literally, his eye socked is broken and that's a major injury). It was a matter of time before he went down and the stoppage from his corner was the correct call.

Conclusion: Brook's worldwide stock has rose considerably in defeat. He went toe-to-toe with the man who is feared the most in the sport and showed that Golovkin can be vulnerable.

GGG has no respect for any man's power. He apparently wanted a war and got it. Shame it was against a smaller man but I think he had this fight for the novelty of it (and the cash). He still beats Eubank Jnr, Saunders and Canelo in my opinion. But he's not invincible.

He might respect the power of a bigger, harder hitting opponent. He's a smart fighter.

I agree he's not invincible. I've always thought that. Nobody is invincible.

I agree Brook's stock even in defeat went up considerably. He showed he has serious skills and the composure to compete at the highest level.

Golvokin has one heck of a chin, he can take flush shots in combo and still keep coming. But you have to think that if he ever faces a fighter that can really hurt him that his nonchalant attitude towards defence could cost him.

^ it's like you guys have never watched a GGG fight.

He was very smart and calculated against guys like Stevens and Lemieux, and boxed them up and used the jab, rarely leaving any openings.

Against guys like Monroe, Wade, and Brook where it's pretty much a squash match, he dicks around and head hunts.

GGG fought behind his jab against Lemieux, he didn't take chances. He was respecting Lemieux's power.

GGG didn't respect anything Kell had for him, thats why he neglected any boxing or defense and just rushed Kell and was wilder than i've ever seen him! He said himself Kell wasn't strong and his punches were soft it felt like sparring to him.

GGG knew Brook didnt have the power to hurt him. He did look very sloppy however. GGG still beats Alvarez and anybody 160 and south, but he likely loses if he moves up and fights the winner of ward-kovalev

Not from GGGs own words. He said Brook had better distance and timing, which he then said made him turn it into a street fight. Which seems kinda true. Golovkin did actually use his jab a lot in the first round, just like with Lemiux...but Brook was had decent range and was landing some counters.

    He just underestimated Brook's power.

You are invincible until somebody beats you. Thus far 36 have tried and failed. Next!

Actually, he did say that he didn't feel kells power and that he wasn't strong and that he also isn't a middleweight. Hence why he just decided to charge forward recklessly because he knew he could hurt Kell badly because he did in the first round.
