Actually, I know how to score a fight quite well, thank you.

I've been watching boxing since 1980. You're obviously bias hence the avatar. GGG was getting knocked around in there every time Kell threw a combination. GGG's defense is utter garbage and he eats shots whenever his opponent opens up. A fatal flaw. He's not as good as you think he is and tonight proved it.

I'm sure David Reid's people are proud they let him last the full 12 against Tito instead of stopping the fight. After all, Reid was doing well early and scored a knockdown. Brook's corner could learn something from that. /sarcasm

I was thrilled at how well Kell countered and drilled GGG with vicious combos in round 2. He won that round on ANYONE WHO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT BOXING's card.
That rd carried over into rd 3 and he edged it.

But 1, 4 and 5 were clear GGG rds, and 2 couldve easily just have been ruled a 10/8 for GGG had Wright properly scored the KD.
And yeah....it was clearly a KD.

I'm not black yet Hagler is my #1 mw of all time. I have no affection for GGG.

Most folks agree he has a fractured orbital.
Same thing that started Mago's 12 rd career ender.
Probably a wise choice by Ingle, considering Kell has either an IBF WW defense due or an immediate shot at the IBF LMW titlist, Jermell Charlo, who IMHO, he'd KTFO in a handful of rds.

You're in a boxing forum, telling the MAJORITY of people (let's assume MANY of whom are die hard fans like myself) who scored the fight rationally that they are essentially boxing ignorant.

You don't have much self awareness.

It seems you don't understand what you are seeing when a fight is unfolding live before you.

Exactly. Brook did well. Geale did ok against him too for 3 rounds, hit him flush with a shot in the 4th and ended up ko'ed at that same moment. Brook was hitting him but it was obvious that apart from that great uppercut which grabbed his attention, he was just taking them in his stride. I feel it would have been a late rounds stoppage to GGG in light of what we saw tonight had the eye injury not occurred. Kell should be proud of himself and is now on the verge of some big money fights.

Kell is the superior boxer, Golovkin's power was starting to wear him down. Gennady said it himself: after round 2 he abandoned boxing because Kell was too much for him.

Yea I think Brook kind of exposed Golovkin a bit; he's not that great of a boxer but still very good. He thrives when his opponent backs up, Brook stood his ground, slipped punches and countered, and made Golovkin look average.

British fan not admitting his British fighter lost legit.

Brook won one round.. and that's because GGG fought stupid and went for a KO after he realized Kell couldn't hurt him.

This was a mismatch, and played out like the mismatch it was... the one thing robbed is that of an actual TKO/KO due to the corner prematurely stopping the fight.... which of course leaves the window open for morons like this guy who thinks Kell did so much better than he really did.

He gave quite a bit, I'll admit, I was impressed.. but not impressed enough to think he was winning, or was going to come back and win.
