I had it 2-2 before the stoppage, but can easily see how some had it 3-1 for GGG. wish they let it go one more round though.

I thought Brook was up 3-1 but he was taking a beating that round. I agree they shouldn't have stopped it then, but I think he would have been stopped or knocked out later that round or the next

Not really been impressed with Brok after porter etc but this fight imo has put Brook right up there. Great skill. great heart & a fight he should be proud of..there were no losers in this fight!

It hurts you that Floyd couldn't hold Golovkins jock strap

So why didn't he win then? He threw a couple punches that landed but had no effect wow they should have awarded him the fight

Terrible stoppage.. Brook put out the blueprint, and it's only a matter of time before the worst fanbase in boxing history vanish before our eyes.

I had Kell winning the fight 3-1 but when a guy gets a broken eye socket you have to stop the fight or risk a serious injury that could have devastating consequences. Kell was in all kinds of trouble in the 5th and his corner did well to get him out of there.

Not sure if this was a blueprint, he did OK for a round or two by beign on quick feet and counterpunching. Problem is he couldn't keep up this tempo for longer than 2 rounds and GGG was able to chase him down more and more and corner him.

It is a blueprint to look good for 2 rounds? Yes. But if the stamina doesn't hold up he can't win a fight like that vs. GGG.

people seem to forget what an injury like that can do in the long run.. just look at what happened to Abdusalamov who fought a war with Perez after suffereing a broken orbital bone (if i'm not mistaken) for 10 rounds

I had it 3 to 1 for GGG at stoppage. As did HBO. I can understand 2:2. If you had it 3 to 1 for Brook you have to be insane.

Exactly. Brook tried. Failing is OK as long as you try and give it your all. I think Brook gained massive respect and went out on his shield even though they threw in the towel. Boxer's safety comes first, the corner made the right call seeing that eye.

It's funny how people see a fight differently. Brook caught ggg with some beauties yet at no point in the fight did i think ggg was ever in trouble, other middleweights maybe but ggg just soaked them up and carried on moving forward.

Brook did well and was up on the cards for me, but then again with his spread and agility I expected him to be. The problem was although brook was landing more, ggg' shots were hurting brook and wearing him down. I would have liked to see the fight go on for longer but at the same time it appeared that the weight of golovkins shots were taking their toll.

    A good stoppage for me.

Hearn said that Brook was up in the score cards, but was that based on facts? I had Golovkin leading 40-36.

People what blueprint?! Watch the fight, first round when GGG hurt Brook and since then GGG was just toying with Brook allowing him to perform in front of his own public and making his Big Drama Show. That's it!
