Yeah Max doesn't come off well here. In this video he was suggesting that Canelo won his close fights in large part due him being good looking and getting favorable scoring in Vegas. What an idiot !

 

Actually he is right Plus Canelo is Vegas cash cow & therefore must not be allowed to lose

 

Is it a trilogy? You have a guy who waited until a great champion got old. First fights him when he is 35, then when he is 36 and now wants him again at 37, while he is 26, 27 and will be 28. Kind of a joke really. One guy well past his prime, who still beats the younger guy in his prime in the first fight, closer in the second fight and a bogus decision. The third fight? Fill in the blank. If they fought when they should have at 32 and 23, GGG would have stopped Clenelo. Yeah, time does matter. The more amazing story is that GGG has been this competitive at such a late stage in his career. Very impressive.

 

When Froch fought Groves he was older than GGG was when he fought Canelo the first time. Froch was 36 when he fought a 25 year old Groves. Why wasn't age used as an excuse for Froch going into those fights like it was for GGG as a built-in excuse vs Canelo?

Froch was older than GGG was, and Groves was younger than Canelo was, but yet Froch was still able to KO Groves. Nobody said going into the Froch Groves fights "it's unfair now because Froch is 36, if Froch was 32 or 33 he'd easily stop Groves, but now he's too old."

Who cares how old an inferior fighter is? We're talking about 2 top tier fighters in GGG and Canelo. Groves at 30 just got KO'd in his last fight. So, who gives a **** what the guy did, losing to an older, better fighter. What you're really saying is Groves wasn't very good if an old Froch beat him twice.

 

Also you're asking If it's a trilogy ? Seriously ? Obviously if you fight someone three times it's a trilogy

If the trilogy is a fair fight & the legitimate winner gets the decision he deserves EVERYONE will accept the decision & congratulate the winner.
