DirtyDan has ATG amateur and pro careers behind him. He has stellar victories over Raymi and Maz. This pretty much allows him to sh.t on every GGG's fight, past and future. :yep:hi:

We'll just have to agree to disagree. You think he needs to prove himself at SMW to get fights with Froch and Ward, I don't. A guy who made his entire division run scared shtless has nothing to prove, he should be able to get big fights.

So move up to LHW. If that doesn't work either, move to HW and challenge Wlad, Povetkin, Wilder, Fury. If you can't get those guys to fight you either, then invent a time machine and challenge Ray Robinson and Mohammed Ali. This is what this guy wants from GGG.

Skip at min 2:10 when Cotto headbutts Geale pretty bad and the referee doesn't do sh.t.

Cotto is the catchweights king. He threats his opponents that he's the 'A-side' and force them to drain themselves to fight him. :-(

This entire line of discussion is absurd.

The middleweight division is weak, and it's made all the weaker by the fact that the lineal champion nabbed that title and then retreated to catchweights south of the weight limit. Cotto is the ulimate problem here, because Golovkin as lineal champion has more ring to it than Golovkin the perpetual No. 1 contender.

Moreover, GGG is under no moral obligation to abandon his natural weight class. He'll probably eventually move up, but he isn't oversized for the division and the fights on the smaller end of the spectrum (if he could get them) would bring larger purses than Ward, for instance.

Bernard Hopkins hung out at MW for years despite not having great opposition lined up and relatively low purses, and his breakthrough fight came in his mid-30s against a natural WW. But I don't blame Hopkins for reigning at 160; it's not like he was ducking people, it just wasn't a great time for the division.

I do blame Cotto for running from his No. 1 mandatory. Fighting Canelo is huge money and fine, but the only reason to fight at 155 versus Canelo is to pronounce to the world that you aren't a real middleweight. He doesn't want the GGG fight irrespective of money or legacy, hence the reason fans are upset.

Chavez jr and Canelo arent midgets. Chavez is probably like 15 lbs heavier than GGG and Canelo has the same fight night weight as GGG - 172 lbs. Froch is bigger too. Cotto is a mw champion and he MUST fight GGG.

Chavez got kayod by a light heavyweight, who floored Stevenson. Froch lost last time in 2011, they are good opponents and they are much bigger than GGG. All those fighters are ducking him...

I am asking myself, are you an idiot, hater or both?

He might be an idiot. He admits the entire MW division are scared shtless of him but when he calls out top guys from 154-168, "he doesn't deserve those fights" and calls him a joke.

You buffoon...They were both coming in with shots!

Also, Cotto clearly stated he is available for GGG!

You all sound like 15-16 year olds on a boring school vacation.
With the exception of the village Idiot CJ !!!

Why Cotto doesn't fight at the full middleweight weight since he's the CHAMPION of the middleweight division ?

If he's a welter or a super ww then stay there and fight Thurman, Brook, Porter, Maidana, Andrade, Lara, Charlos etc.:nut
