I'm one of his few fans on here, but tonight he blew the interview in my eyes. Why didn't he get the fighters face to face?, didn't pressure Canelo about the weight limit.. Didn't bring up the fact that this was a mismatch.... Etc..
I didn't like how Max was having a go at the Khan team about Canelo taking on GGG. why is it so important to them Max? well maybe cause they put themselves on the line so expect others in boxing to, what is so hard to understand? Lost a lot of respect for him there, clearly an agenda which I know is no surprise at HBO but that was embarrassingly obvious
Exactly. If Khan comes away from this fight with anything it's the respect of taking a risky challenge. What better way to punctuate that then to point out that the most popular fighter in the sport refuses to do exactly that. Honestly I think the entire boxing world, no matter which side of the fence you stand, is getting really frustrated that the fights not happening.
