but it seems they are content with just beating up c level middleweights.....which is real strange....they must actually feel like they have a shot at losing if they fight canelo at 155

 

well they may not be losing money on 30 dollar seats since they are paying the fighters less....but i know what u mean......like someone pointed out a few weeks ago "ggg fights are like going to a triple a baseball game"....

hbo seems to not mind paying for the monroe fights...it makes ggg look good and hbo is just as much in the business of building a fighter and their reputation......people dont seem to mind that ggg feasts on bums...at least his loyal fanboys dont mind.....so far that has been enough for hbo and ggg

Losing to ANY fighter you're a great favorite over NEVER helps a career. It might get you paid more as being an opponent in the immediate future, but losing is terrible no matter what.

If Canelo doesn't accept 160 he will be forced to kill himself to make 154 and continue feasting on smaller guys for the rest of his career. The longer Canelo kills himself to make 154 the shorter his career will be. He's shortening his prime with this weight draining. All the top Middleweights in Quillin, Jacobs, and Saunders are too big to go to 155 and fight Canelo. Canelo can't move to 160 to fight them because that gives away his only leverage at demanding the fight with Golovkin at 155. Canelo has put himself if a place where he has to either fight Golovkin and recover from the potential loss or slowly kill his career little by little.
