Most experts in the US started to watch Joe Calzaghe when he fought Lacy. Most of them only saw some recorded stuff of him before which is not the same as watching a fighter fight after fight, watching his progress etc... It's the same with most no UK/Welsh fans: they can just watch the tapes and not analize him in real time so it's easy to say he's never fought anyone, protected etc. etc... Eubank, Reid, Mitchell is just names for them in a boxrec record. Kessler's just an euro bum, 3-CPO with a smile. Kellerman made the Eubank mistake twice, first in the first round then in the post-fight interview. He never saw that fight since me, not living in the UK, but know as much as any hard-core fan knew that he was knocked down first in the Mitchell fight. Since the commentators stated that at least 4 times during that fight, it seems Kellerman has never seen the Mitchell fight either. But other than that, Max did a fine job.
Calzaghe needs a better tan if he wants Kellerman to really study him. Or maybe he needs to be retired for 30 years and then Kellerman will know about him. It's like adults starting to listen to Nirvana in 2008. It's cool.. but you missed the boat in 1994 because your mom disagreed?
