When you factor in his tomatoe can alt it is absolutely obsessive and frankly, sad. Manny is an ATG; he really doesn’t need cyber stalker fans

Could argue it either way. But to me Pac won about 4 rounds and Pac won his rounds clearer than Floyd did. Pac also hurt floyd twice but Floyd could never hurt Pac despite being the bigger man.

This with the ref allowing Floyd to use illegal tactics in constantly bending below the weight and hugging Pac, which is a huge deal as he should have lost points from all that hugging.

I also think Floyd is just a better point scorer, his shots are clean and easy to see. As Steve Cunningham said about pacquiao “I didn’t even see what he hit you with” and that was a shot that hurt broner, so how many punches are judges not seeing?

This is why Pac always getting robbed. Not that he was against Floyd but the fight was a lot closer and more tense than it was. Floyd has said that himself several times that it was one of his toughest fights.

The size thing is also a huge issue. If you understand boxing and understand range, you’ll know shorter guys have to get in. With Pac the only way for him to get in because he’s not an inside fighter is to lunge in. Well if your opponent illegally grabs you every time you get it or bends below the waist, then it nullifies your tactic illegally.

So if Pac was mayweather size and length he wouldn’t need to lunge in, he could have mayweather reaching and counter him more. And he did counter Floyd.

You see Floyd vs McGregor, past it Floyd but you could see him reaching and even got countered with an uppercut. Then he just got down to basics and walked McGregor down, he did it very poorly too, he’s not a come forward fighter at all.

Somebody like Hearns would almost be guaranteed to beat him based on styles. That said Hearns would hurt Pac bad too.

Of course I’m biased but if you follow their careers, it’s as if Pac has 3-4 careers. He wasn’t suppose to become the junior fly champ but he did. Then he went on to do 122 and shock everyone, not the Pac we knew or know now. Then there was his FW day’s where you think that was his peak. Then he goes up to WW and does the impossible again and have a career there. And now he’s building another career past 40.

It’s like the rides was never suppose to happen, but he kept taking us on these rides and almost forget he was this featherweight champ who was fight atg’s there.

I’d say Floyd had 2 careers, his FW/LW days and then WW days. However he was always the favourite so we were never really in shock with what he did, it was expected.

If roman Gonzales was beating up on Thurman now, fans would probably forget this guy is suppose to be at the lighter weights and just treat him like any other WW. Forgetting that what he’s doing now is just icing on the cake.

Is that a room with only 8 commentators in it ?

No doubt one has to rank Pacquiao higher than Mayweather . Who repeatedly took on highly ranked opponents much larger than himself and destroyed them ?

People say that Pac is greater than Floyd because he has labored long and hard in his boxing career. He is still at it and I admire him for that but to me he would be more like a prized mule. A thoroughbred but nevertheless a mule. Now a mule is designed to work hard and long. However, Floyd puts me in the mind of a thoroughbred racehorse, he was born to run and bathe in the limelight of the sport of kings. He don't have to labor long because his rewards are greater and his legacy is undeniable. He makes more money in his stud fees than the mule does for working all day. When it's all said and done, people will say Pac was great but nobody did it like Mayweather.

Cheating a catchweight and paying a fine for the weight advantage? Check.

Paying a fighter 1.5 million dollars to not wear his preferred gloves? Check.

Claim that you're cleaning up the sport of boxing for 5+ years only to be caught receiving illegal IV fluids? Check.

Yep, nobody did it like Mayweather.

Mayweather won the Cold War, proxy wars, and the actual war against Pac. There was nobody Pac beat that Mayweather could not. Mayweather was never upset, never really knocked down, very seldom hit with combos...
...of course, an argument can be made for Pac’s superiority (even by me). It’s all subjective when it comes to those two.

On that logic Berbick is greater than Ali.
But this is a 'who is higher in the ATG rankings' so it's not about one fight, it's about all of them contributing to overall careers and legacies.

All fair points, there is a difference of course. But I still think we judge RJJ a bit harshly for those disastrous losses

Roach says one thing and then says another. He said at one time Floyd was forced to fight Manny. So I don't know what Roach says and I don't care. What I see is that Manny fought everyone ever Margarito when Margarito was good and strong.. Floyd would not have done that. And when Manny was tops Floyd did not fight him, yet Manny fought all guys. I fault PBF,as you call him because he handpicked guys when they were older and at the right time. I don't like fighters like that. I like Hagler and Hearns. Guys who come to fight and don't care about a loss but give it all they can and gave us a fight to remember 34 years later. Undefeated? If you don't fight the best prime fighters and just want to fool the public for millions? What does it matter?

Cold War? Proxy War? Dude, Pacquiao literally had one message from 2010-2015 — anytime, anywhere, any test.

Floyd, on the other hand, had numerous embarrassing meltdowns on videos and social media.

It's like y'all look for ANYTHING to give Floyd credit, but ignore everything that destroys his credibility.
