Maybe a lot of us are reading too much into the Porter win. I think it's down to the fact he battered Paulie within 4. Something Broner, or a near prime Hatton or prime Khan couldn't do. Maybe Paulie has seen 1 or 2 many wars though.

There has not been one good pure-British (that excludes Lennox) boxer since the days of Randy Turpin. Porter demonstrates American superiority over Brook

Just like when Hopkins schooled Calzaghe only to have incompetent judges reward Calzaghe for punching air

What do you think you will achieve by spending such so much of your life talking about that fight, apart from the preservation of your virginity?

i watched and thought he lost. as i have said he has looked average until the alexander and paulie fights . those fights seem to have lifted his game but i never though alexander was great and pualie may be washed up and cant hit. brook im unsure about he may be real good or he may be useless at world leve,l i think we will find out soon. brook def hits hard enough to get porters attention but he will have to be very very fit for the fight and prepared for a war three minutes of every round

Alexander and Paulie would have suited Kell & I think he'd have gave a very good account of himself in those fights, as for Porter... tough tough fight stylistically.

I wonder what the excuses will be this time when yet another title fight doesn't materialise.

Very bad style match up for Brook and thats a major problem, Kell has poor inside game, he likes to box at long range use the jab (jab is very good probably his best asset) but Porter will try smother him and bust him up on the inside, Kell doesn't appear to be the most mentally strong guy either, when the pressure comes on he might fold he nearly did vs a much lesser fighter in Jones. I think Kell might start off well be up after 6 rounds but Porter will be making him work hard and i think this will take it's toll, I question Brooks stamina and his ability to make weight so i don't think he will be able to work for 12 hard rounds and win, I predict Porter to grind him down and stop him around 9-10

Very tough fight for Kell, but Porter was able to go in against Paulie all guns blazing safe in the knowledge that Paulie couldn't hurt him. Kell Brook carries power which has to be respected and if he can make him feel that power early, then it may stop Porter in his tracks.

Really difficult fight for Brook here, but tbh it's about time we seen Brook get thrown in the deep end. Hopefully Brook can pull it off, but I just can't see it as Porter is dead wrong for Kell. Brook was lucky the last time he came up against a pressure fighter like Porter in the Carson Jones 1st fight. Jones chased Brook out of the ring that night, but Porter is bigger, better, faster and stronger than him. Porter dealt with Alexander and Malignaggi with ease and both of them like to fight outside the same with Brook, but Brook is a good puncher, so he has a punchers chance and if he pulls it off it will be a great world title victory involving a British fighter.
It should be a great fight, but I see Brook eventually getting beat up and stopped in the later rounds.

Since when is Brook a power puncher, it took him ages to get a nobody in Robales out of there, he couldn't hurt Hatton, the Senchenko KO is the only impressive stoppage in his career, nothing suggests he can take out Porter.
