I want' to see Nards birth cirtificate, no way he is 43.

One thing didn't happen though, he didn't take a lot of big shots, but yeah this will be tough to come back from.

Yeah he got shutout by an ATG no shame in that. Kelly will get back into the gym and finish business at 160. He seems like the kinda guy that will learn from this loss and be better for it. BTW I still see him beating Abraham at 160.

The only travesty in all this is that Pavlik still has a belt........he looked woefully out of his depth against a 43 year old veteran

Great job Hopkins and Kelly is not done, but he might have problems with Abraham.

    He wasn't exposed...

He's not good at 170. Simple as that.

    Great performance by Hopkins though.

Actually he was, he had no plan B. Kept doing the same thing over and over falling into Hopkins tricks. He was shutout in every round. That is the definition of 'exposed.' I dont like the term nor do I use it. Posters never use it correctly. But, it fits Pavlik tonight. Hopefully, he can recover.

he didn't lose every round and he wasn't exposed. He's not meant to be at 170.

That's like saying if Floyd lost to Oscar he was exposed.

    Let's see now --
Alexis Arguello lost a fight to Vilomar Fernandez; a guy very few people have ever heard of.

Tommy Hearns lost 2 fights too Iran Barkley; a guy who isn't qualified to wash BHop's jock.

Mike Tyson lost a fight to a 42 to 1 underdog named Buster Douglas.

Pavlik lost to the #4 p4p fighter in the world while fighting 10 pounds above his normal weight.

If Floyd had lost to Oscar via a total shut out, that would an exposing.

"he didn't lose every round and he wasn't exposed. He's not meant to be at 170."

    1) Pavlik coudnt adapt. He was exposed as fighter that doesnt have another plan when fights arent going his way. Thus getting shut out in all 12 rounds. Lacy and Trinidad fit this description as well.

    2) Pavlik is bigger than Hopkins. The 10 pounds didnt make a difference.

"That's like saying if Floyd lost to Oscar he was exposed."

    3) Oscar didnt beat Floyd.

    4) If the fight is competitive like DLH/Mayweather, then 'exposed' is not the right word to describe the loser. So your example, doesnt fit.

How does it not? 10lbs did make a difference, Pavlik didn't have his speed or strength that he has at 160. We all SAW the difference in the taylor fight, why do you act like it wasn't a difference?

Of coruse Oscar didn't I was saying IF he did. And if oscar did, it wouldn't mean Oscar exposed Floyd it would mean Floyd doesn;'t belong at 154.

Some people can move up, some people cant.
