gotta agree with this, although getting a knock out is never fortunate, its not like the ref gave him the punch is it?

    :deal

what is with all the under rating of Froch, he will apprantly lose to to everyone according to ESB, it would be well funny if he beats Bute, smash all your glass hearts.

Takes more skill than anything, it wasn't like it was the only punch he landed, but yeah sports people are weird.

It's an unknown phenomenon... All fighters transform themselves into bums when they are about to fight Bute, previously to that they were good caliber of opposition or top boxers of the division. I think they start suffering of "NonCreditus Acute" disease they got it from the "fans" and is a part of "Made-up Diseases" type of illnesses.

I Think The Froch Bute Fight Will be a good fight while it lasts! Pavlik would be more well suited for a "Boxing" Match against Bute than Froch!

Takes a lot of skill, but sometimes I would rather be lucky then good. No way Froch intended for the fight to play out the way it did. And luck is always a factor in sports nothing goes quite acording to plan since the athletes only have so much control over realility. Although Froch could be one of those special athletes that when the chips are down and there is not much hope left he can't somehow raise his game to another level.

In that case its not luck, but Frochs x factor.

If Bute wins that easily, that means he's ****ing good, not that Froch is bad.

Like Larouche said : "Lucian is a victime of its performance in the recent years , which may have led some experts to label him as a boxer who has not faced the best of his profession. This is what happens when a boxer too easily outperforms its rivals."

You know he had a chance to prove this and he blew it, right?

    ...Never forget that.

He blew it twice actually. Once when he lost to Martinez, the second time when he decided not to fight Cunningham and Bute.

Let's hope for Kelly he's sober for good.

He would have "blew it" if he had allowed himself to be rushed into that fight. I didn't like the way it happened but no way Kelly was ready for Bute after taking a rushed tune-up with Cunningham.

Kelly isn't what he used to be. Garica is a good trainer for him, but he can't do the fighting for him. I think Froch has what Pavlik doesn't mental toughness

Okay pal -- you talked enough garbage for long enough. You have absolutely no way of backing up 90% of what you said on this thread. The quoted statement is a prime example of that.

You're very close to forcing some of us who occassionally know what we're talking about to assume one of two things. Either you enjoy talking out your ass just for the sake of talking out your ass, or you are so new to boxing that you've never actually witnessed a real comeback.

A "shot to ****" and "over the hill" Denny Moyer became the first 154 pound world titlist in history, went on to become the divisions first undisputed champion, and then on the best night of his life bamboozled the greatest welterweight and middleweight champion in boxing history.

On May 24th 1974 The School Boy utterly demolished Little Red, and the fans and pundits alike claimed Danny would never be the same. In 1976 before a crowd of over 100,000 David Kotey partisans Little Red became the featherweight champion of the world, and he did it in Kotey's back yard. Red went on to rule the division for 4 exciting years, and it took no less a fighter than one Salvador Sanchez to knock the king off his throne.

Oh ya, and sometime back there was this one heavyweight who was totally inactive for three and a half years, and in his first fight back he took out the legit #1 contender in under 3 rounds.

The list goes on and on. Show me a fighter who never went through struggles and tough times, and I'll show you a guy who put a lot of effort into ducking good fighters! Time will tell us if Pavlik can come back. You can't, and you really ought to stop making an ass of yourself by trying to.
