    Its difficult for me to sit back & except the fact that PBF was named FOTY, when in fact the honour belongs to Pavlik, who had 3 tough fights in 2007 & KO'ed each opponent in convincing fashion.
    I know Floyds 2 fights this year against Oscar & Hatton made more $$$ for boxing & probably drew more attention, but thats not what the title of this award is all about. Now, if they made PBF "Businessman of the Year", I could live with that. But to rob Kelly of prestigious recogintion for a hard years work is simply not right.

    But in this day & age, its to be expected.

    GO PAVLIK!

    Most definetly, only nuthuggers would dissagree with this.
    KOing Taylor (2 questionable wins vs hopkins and draw with winky) is biggest this years upset/acomplishment, and when you add Miranda it becomes a no brainer imo.

    Pavlik's definitely 2007's fighter of the year. Ring nor any other magazine or opinion cannot tell me what to think and considering that i saw them 2 fight of Floyd's and the 3 fight of Pavlik. Its obvious that Pavlik had a better year.

    PBF's win over DLH means nothing to me. To me, that fight was worthless in terms of signifcance in the boxing world and how it would shape up the rankings. DLH is no longer close to "elite". So in reality, PBF had one great win.

    Pavlik had two huge wins over very good fighters and one good one over a decent one. And the way he beat them is even more impressive.

    beating a potential ATG in panties and multi division champ as well as the man at 140 in brutal fashion>>>>>>>> b class taylor, edson 'more holes than swiss cheese' miranda and zerdouche.

    Man, DLH ain't done squat in years. DLH is only good for two things right:

    1) Generate big money

    2) Losing against the people he fights.

    DLH has still got something in the tank and the fact floyd went up to fight him at 154, with panties choice of gloves and ring size makes it even better.

    the golden fishnets got owned. i just wish that floyd called out oscar again live on tv after the hatton fight. i don't wanna see the fight i just like seeing DLH squirm.

    The Miranda fight is what vaulted Kelly into future stardom. He wasn't suppose to win that fight. And even though he took some got shots from Edison, I still could not believe how KP controlled the fight & made it what you could say a one-sided affair.

    Was wondering how long it would take for the PBF fans to show up & tell me just how wrong I am.

    Your picking on the quality of Miranda, when Oscar wouldn't be a threat to my dead Grandmother, yet you don't say **** about that.

    Pretty funny.:lol:

    BTW, if Taylor is 'B' class, what does that make B Hopkins, 'C' class???

    Kelly Pavlik wasn't the favourite going into the Miranda either, but he still brutally ****ed him up.

    Pavlik is easily the best fighter of the year, when he knocked out Taylor I was literally stunned. First time I've ever been stunned by the sport (haven't been watching it for very long).
