he's just doing what suits himself, sound like Pavlik is a homebird. How can he compare to Hatton, who used private jets, has an exec. box at Man City, wears rolexes and is always on holiday gorging himself?

 

Well in my opinion Rick doesn't flaunt his riches but you are entitled to your opinion. They are also similar because Rick lives directly in back of his parents house.

 

Ya I really hope that he fights sometime soon at Cleveland Browns Stadium so i can watch him fight live. I like him even though it is engrained in my DNA to hate people from Ohio because I am from Michigan

 

Any of that means he isn't a "man of the people"? You seem to have the idea that Hatton isn't good with his fans. If that is the case, give me a few examples of people who are as good as him. Waiting for hours past the allotted time to sign autographs. Inviting fans into VIP parties. Doing lots of charity work. Helping revitalise boxing in the North West. Being approachable and friendly to all fans.

All the things Hatton does now are just what almost anyone else would do in his position. I don't get why you are insinuating the guy is a ***** for buying a ****ing Rolex when he is a millionaire many times over. What the **** does it have to do with fans?

Cut all the **** about Hatton spending money and give me some examples of him not being a "man of the people".

P.S. I love he line about Hatton "gorging" himself Like that has absolutely **** all to do with....anything.

 

he keeps his fans sweet with all that 'i'm approachable' stuff....but he spent a long time talking them for a ride with all the bullhsit defences of the WBU....if he's a man of the people in his elevated position he should fight Witter...that's what people want. He's a conman.
I posted those points above as a response to all theose saying Hatton is humble and down to earth. How many humble, down to earth lads you know that refer to themselves in the 3rd person and use private jets and exec. boxes at Eastlands?

 

If I could go out and have a couple drinks out with a couple of boxers it would be Pavlik and Hatton. That **** would be a blast and it would be like you're hanging out with an average Joe.
