Kelly Pavlik a little too dangerous for his own good.

    Well wouldnt you know it, after a devestating performance and a crushing defeat of Lockette, Warren and team Calzaghe want no part of Kelly Pavlik. Seems Kelly hits a little too hard and might be a bit more of a challenge than previously expected. Warren and Team Calzaghe are opting for a safer challenge at this point.

    Lockette must have been quite vivid describing Pavliks power punching power and the pain he felt complete with headaches & double vision while in the hopsital,No doubt word got back to Warren & team Cazaghe. Consider that after all lockette has sparred with Joe C. Its no stretch to compare and I guess they came to their own conclusions.

    Two fights we will never see: Joe Calzaghe vs Dawson or Kelly Pavlik.
    Joe should just retire, it is what it is. Thats the word on the street.

    damn mofos are quick to jump to conclusions on this forum. they made the same noises whilst the kessler rumours were flying around about mikkel, not ready, not a big enough name etc.

    the fight got made.

    save these threads for when we have some actual definite news on fights.

    Frank Warren and Joe Calzaghe both know that they could beat anybody in the division right now. I hope the fight does happen, but it'll be a shame for Pavlik, because he'll be labeled a hype job by all the idiots on the forum. There's a lot of idiots.

    I am from the area where Kelly lives and used to be on his Dart team. Was friends for a while. I hope the kid the best but I see why people on here get mad at his fans. The kid is a dangerous fighter no doubt, but some of the **** I read on here from his fans is rediculous. Take out your fanhood and analyze the fights with reality. While Kelly has a good chance to beat Calzhage, it would be no picnic. It would be great to watch but to say he would destroy Joe is rediculous. Stop making people hate him by being overzealous.

    Pavlik is good, but he is too young and unchallenged to be called better than Robinson, Leonard, or Hagler. wise up Robinson had a total of 23 fights with hall of famers alone

    I love Pavlik. I'm a huge fan and I love to watch him fight.

    But I believe he is overrated!
