Good recent (early 2015) interview with Kelly talking about an incident at a Foo Fighters concert.

Pavlik recovered in the 2nd round before the bell. Taylor did a sloppy job finishing and Pavlik was doing a good job of holding (and also rabbit punching). Pavlik was pretty badly hurt but Taylor let him off the hook and Pavlik had recovered before the end of the round.

Pretty much as soon as the next round began, Taylor got into his bad habit of going back into the ropes, and Pavlik landed some shots there.

Pretty much all the rounds were competitive other than the 2nd. I don't remember how I scored it, I probably had it one point either way. Pavlik was landing heavy jabs and straight rights throughout. It took me a second viewing to notice that it was more of accumulation stoppage than I originally thought, and that Pavlik's right hands were taking a toll on Taylor.

Pavlik blocked punches by using his face like Margarito. This type of a fighter cannot continue to fight in a long period.

I predicted this result while Pavlik was the World Champion and it's true.

Take a close look in his fights against Taylor, Martinez, and Hopkins. You'll see what I'm saying.

You pick 3 elite fighters and wonder why guy gets hit in face?

He ate punches from Miranda and Zertuche too. Just look at Round 3 against Zertuche, almost as bad as the near second round meltdown against Taylor.

He was good at catching punches with his gloves when focused but he often had several lapses a fight where he would take repeated punishment.

Remember all talk of Calzaghe being scared to fight him and sending Lockett in instead?

    For sure this is crazy

Going off the rails is very hard. Especially if you are in public spotlight
