In the fight with Rubio, Kelly was working Marco over on the ropes in the first round and landed a big right hand straight down the middle and then proceeded to back off. I was at that fight and I honestly believe Kelly could have finished him off right there. Think of this like the picadors in a bull fight. Take just enough out of the 'opponent' to lessen the threat and then put on a show.

I agree with a few of the recent posts, and I've said it before, I am more interested in seeing how KP approaches this fight than anything else. I'm hoping to see the full bag of tricks on May 7th..

A lot of people did not see Kelly until around the time of the Miranda fight, so they (understandably) do not know what I mean when I say "full bag of tricks."

I've seen this kid switch up, throw a southpaw 3-2, switch back to orthodox, and throw an orthodox 1-1-3. He did it so fast that you have to be looking right at his feet to notice.

I've seen him alter the trajectory of his right hand when the punch was in mid-flight.

I've seem him do some really insane **** with his jab. I've haven't seen the tap-tap-tap-BANG routine in a long time, nor have I seen him change a jab into a left hook at the last possible instant, but he used to do those things routinely.

I have not seen KP throw combinations while moving backward in ages, but he did that routinely from the Zuniga fight back.

I could go on and on, but I won't. I'll just say that if Pavlik ever learns to "put it all together" at the same time, he will be one of the most dangerous men in the sport.

I truly believe he is on the right track at the moment. I sure would love to see him stay on that track for about 3 years, and then retire on top.

Actually turns out a bit shorter, but that is still a big chunk of time, but good money, so........ Once everything 'settles in' I may look to move a bit closer or just get a place to crash during the week. We'll see....

The right hand that Pavlik knocked Zuniga down with was a sweet shot. I believe he punished Zuniga with a KO uppercut in the following round, yes?

I wonder how many buys this PPV will do, and what the total numbers of viewers will be. At least a **** load and a half!

    Pac
    Mosely
    Pavlik
    Arce

    It's a really good card.

This is a huge opportunity for KP to strut his stuff. I'm starting to get excited.
