Funny because that's exactly what I think of Floyd Mayweather Jr, he doesn't owe anything to anyone regardless what anyone says. Anyway, regarding Pavlik, here's a solid article, the best on Kelly of recent times:

no he doesnt own anyone anything. but when you arent a super selfish person, which kelly is not, the feeling that you "owe" someone something is kind of contagious.

kelly is involved in a number of charities and personally visits numerous hospitals and children with disabilities. if he feels he owes himself something, i wouldnt be surprised if he feels he owes those kids who looked up to him something as well. its just the kind of person he is.

again, he doesnt owe anything to anyone aside from himself and his family, but the reality is he probably feels like he does.
