Kelly is training hard out there in Oxnard, and if he can fight at 160lbs without weight/health difficulty, he could beat any of the current MWs with the exception of Sergio.

Barker and Macklin beat up Pavlik at 160. The man isn't going to have it anymore

Get the **** out of here.

Right now, Kelly would be even money against either of those two. Optimum Pavlik would have left the two of them for dead.

I was exagerrating, but I think they would be good fights. No way does Pavlik come back the same fighter he was.

I think Macklin beats him up but ships some in return. Barker no. Barker gets knocked out even by todays Pavlik...

If he's in prime form he can beat Sergio. Pretty big if, but it's not out of the question.

Give him his two tune up fights then put him in with Andy Lee. Steward's always talking how Andy would beat Kelly, I'd like to see. A Pavlik-Golovkin fight would be awesome. MW's a lot tougher now than it was when Pavlik, Taylor, and Hopkins were the champs.

He's probably right. And if he was evens I'd be make a mint off that fight. The "rejuvinated, non drained" Kelly Pavlik almost lost to Alfonso Gomez, the same guy who went on to lose a shut out to Dyah Davis and lost a decision to a guy with a record of 2-5-1.

Add another year of drinking on top of that Pavlik and you're telling me he'd beat Macklin or Barker?

Sadly, Pavlik's days of being a top boxer are gone. I agree with one thing though, in his prime, he'd knock both of them out for sure. His prime was about 5 years ago.

I expect him to look poor against a poor opponent on March 31st.

steward was laughing at kelly in public prior to the taylor fight as well. andy lee is damn lucky he didnt get in there with kelly then. he would have been hurt. if kelly can get down to 160 and be healthy, he'll hurt him still. i like andy lee....just sayin.

Alfonso LOPEZ. after a 13 month layoff pavlik fights this dude who has fought most of his fights over 170 lbs who is Undefeated BTW. With limited film on the dude. Yet Kelly would have put him to sleep if the fight went 1 more round.

Dyah Davis just called out Pavlik over at the Scene! Which I said last week in a thread Kelly should fight Davis in one of his "Tune Ups" because he would straight maul Davis!

Lets see how kelly looks in his first fight back !!! I do believe he would KO Macklin, Barker, Lee and oh a... Sergio after his Tune Ups! Sergio doesnt want any, he already declined the fight 2 x!

You're living in a dream world. Pavlik was terrible against a glorified journeyman, beaten comprehensively by Dyah Davis and a club fighter with a losing record.

Well lets look at their respective performances against their common opponent. Dyah Davis wants it because he knows Pavlik is shot to bits. Pavlik hasn't beaten a top 5 boxer since he beat Taylor, over four years ago.

Sergio said he'd fight him again at 160, that's not what Pavlik offered. So stop being deluded/silly to think Sergio doesn't fancy Pavlik.

I honestly don't know why I bother with nuthuggers. I'm a fool to try have a reasonable discussion with people like you.

Okay Rustbelt, Kelly Pavlik is on the come back, he'll beat everyone at 160 and Martinez is absolutely **** scared of rematching him. YEEEEEEHAAAWWWW War The Ghost! :happy

I would love to see Pavlik-Chavez Jr down the road, and a Texas fight for KP would seem to indicate that it could happen.

The last time Kelly fought a Mexican, he "put Zertuche to sleep" on BAD.
