Kelly Pavlik Fans Need To Stop Being Irrational In Regards To Paul Williams

Kelly Pavlik has been a disgrace as a "champion" for 2 years fighting B and C level opposition and losing to a 44 year old!

Can't wait till Team Pavlik and Arum get the balls to put Kelly against an A-level boxer!! Them 2 belts he's been doing everything to hold on too are going bye-bye!!:hi:

 

I agree. Williams is entitled to do what he wants now Team Pavlik have messed around thus.

It's still obvious that he's scared, though.

 

That said,

Hey man this is the first time Pavlik fans found something to KIND OF brag about, let them enjoy. Espina was his last opponent, so don't be surprised.

 

i just posted this in another thread but no one is posting in it so i'll just say it again...anyone here ever think that this is just part it?? part of the negotiations?? showing arum that williams has options publicly so as to privately have more leverage at the negotiating table?

i honestly believe that williams/peterson believe they can beat pavlik (i strongly disagree but whatever). williams is pav's biggest fish out there right now. by showing that williams is considering trying again to throw his hat into the ww money train, goosen is trying to strengthen his hand in negotiations w/ arum. i truly believe this.

until the first punch is thrown...this game is all about $$$ and i believe this is just part of it.

If guys like Hermit and Boo thought like this we could have some reasonable discussions on the PW/KP threads!!

 

and in all honesty...it wouldnt surprise me to see a pav/sturm unification and a pw/sergio rematch w/ the winners getting it on. pav getting another strap and pw soundly beating sergio would make this fight even bigger.

(i admit it will be tough to beat sergio let alone soundly beat him but you get the idea)

 

I'm not blaming him. Team KP royally ****ed things up, and PW shouldn't be fighting at 160 anyway. He's perfectly entitled to walk away. It doesn't change the fact that his team are worried, though. Pavlik is showing no sign of damage post-Hopkins and Williams isn't as good as they thought. They know this is a dangerous fight. That's why they don't want it. Still, can't blame them.

 

Arum was pissed with Peterson using Pavlik's illness as 'proof' that Kelly was scared of Paul. That was a very low, undignified thing to do. Arum took it personally. Now he is simply saying, take the fight "or shut your damned mouth". I think Arum was justified in doing this. Peterson was a low life and an idiot during all of this.

 

Peterson was and still is delusional. He talked exactly like Manny Steward.

What happened to WWM's theory that Williams would ruin Pavlik? He's awfully quiet on that front:yep

 

I lay things out point by point and he accuses me of being a **** poster and just ignores EVERY SINGLE POINT I lay out. He has no choice I guess.
