Against each member of the Super Six, how do you guys think he would fare? Pavlik vs. Ward: Ward wide UD12 Pavlik vs. Froch: Pavlik TKO11 Pavlik vs. Abraham: Abraham KO10 Pavlik vs Dirrell: Dirrell UD Pavlik vs Green: Pavlik UD Pavlik vs Kessler: Kessler slight UD I think Pavlik could have a place in the Super Six, though it wouldn't be easy for him. I could maybe see him stopping Abraham if he could get to him earlier before he tired out, he could rock Dirrell as well but I think the pure boxers box his ears off. Kessler - Pavlik and Abraham - Pavlik are my two fights I would love to see.
Ward and Dirrell use their speed and movement to make him look silly and win wide UD's. Kessler is a slightly better version of Pavlik and would beat him. The best version of Pavlik would have a good chance with Abraham and Froch, I don't think that version is there anymore. Both would stop Pavlik now. Green may lose to Pavlik, he is too unproven for an argument otherwise.
Pavlik vs. Ward: Ward 120-108/TKO Pavlik vs. Froch: Froch KO10 Pavlik vs. Abraham: Abraham KO5 Pavlik vs Dirrell: Dirrell 120-108/TKO Pavlik vs Green: Green KO9 Pavlik vs Kessler: Kessler KO8
Pavlik vs. Ward: Ward KO, possibly kills Pavlik Pavlik vs. Froch: Froch UD Pavlik vs. Abraham: Abraham KO 9 Pavlik vs Dirrell: Dirrell massively wide UD, possible stoppage Pavlik vs Green: Green UD Pavlik vs Kessler: Kessler Wide UD Jack Loew yelling "double the ****ing jab" won't do ****.
Pavlik gets destroyed at 168: too slow, too one-dimensional. Froch would tear Pavlik's head off. He might take Green, but that's about it.
Pavlik would get raped by all six. Pavlik is one of the most overrated fighters of our generation. He just happened to get the perfect style to make him look good on his rise to the top.
I'll assume Pavlik could come to the ring with his "A" game, but after losing to a guy like Martinez I don't have a lot of confidence that he still has an "A" game. Assuming we see KP at his best against the most recent versions of these fighters, and realizing that styles make fights: Pavlik KO8 Abraham in a very one sided fight. Pavlik KO6 Froch in another one sided affair. Pavlik/Dirrell; Dirrell hates pressure. See the Hanshaw and Froch fights. This is one of the best fights in this line up. Dirrell close UD or Pavlik late tko. Pavlik/Green; Please! Just go away! Pavlik/Kessler; I used to be quite confident that Mikkell would win a 116-112 type UD, but Kessler appears to have faded considerably. I think it's 50/50 now. Pavlik/Ward; Ward by DQ after Pavlik looses his mind over Son of Goat's despicable tactics.
Dirrell and Ward both shut Pavlik out 120-108 no doubt about it. Kelly doesn't have the foot-speed to cut the ring off against them, they'd dance around all night like Martinez did, land at will and then get out of there. Kessler, Froch and Abraham, he has chances against, but I wouldn't make him a favourite against either.
pavlick vs ward .wide wide UD pavlick vs froch .froch ko/tko 6-10 pavlick vs abraham . abraham ko/tko 8-12 pavlick vs dirrel . dirrel wise UD pavlick vs green . close fight SD for either pavlick vs kessler . kessler UD
Prior to the start of the saerland six all of these guys were either living off Pavlik's left overs, or fighters who weren't as good as Pavlik's left overs, and that includes Kessler post-calzaghe.
