Not sure how I missed it that long? I was surprised I hadn't seen anything about it yet and looked. I'm getting old....

 

It took Kessler 3 years to be deemed worthy of a match vs Calzaghe - in Cardiff. Pavlik haven't done enough to gain a fight vs JC just yet. A fight against Hopkins is his best shot - but he would have to win first.

After that, we shall see, if the fight makes sense. Right now, Pavlik should turn his attention towards Hopkins... and Abraham.

If he fights Calzaghe now, he would be nothing more than a footnote in boxing history.

PLEASE knock that crap off. Joe called out Pavlik. That is all that was needed. The links have been posted numerous times.

 

Who cares - what I said is the truth. Pavlik haven't done anything to be deemed worthy.

All it is, is that Calzaghe came to his senses, that Pavlik is no more than a hyped fighter with a few good wins. If Calzaghe should fight for money only, then there are bigger draws than him. People would rain on his parade, when he takes Pavlik to school, and they will bash him for fighting a MW.

And if you still insist on WORTHY. Pavlik beat Taylor twice. Taylor beat Bhop twice. Joe got a split decision over Bhop. Do the math.

 

Joe is not that good if he was, Hopkins would have been retired by him. Lets see what Kelly does. lets compare performances, we will have all the answers after the BHOP vs Kelly fight. There will be nowhere to hide and someone will be exposed:

Pavlik as overrated or a serious threat
Hopkins retired or still a dangerous veteran
Calzaghe as overrtaed or the real deal

 

Some need to see it to believe it - others like me knows how trees will fall... On what basis do you imagine that Pavlik as a MW would have a chance vs a LHW in Calzaghe, and one that is vastly more skilled and experienced?
