Cameron Dunkin has been making a few phone calls. A number of sources say Pavlik will discharge From The Betty Ford Center on Tuesday, and that he is anxious to get back in the ring. No word on weight or other specifics.

I hope he's ready to go and has successfully kicked his habit so we can see a refocused, rededicated Pavlik in 2011!

i want to still see Abraham-Pavlik at SMW since either probably cant make middle and i think Pavlik will win and look good in doing so.

Pavlik is young and a very intelligent fighter and smart fighters can always analyze **** and become better. Kelly's problem is his athleticism which can't really be fixed but there is really only one style that bothers Pavlik (as we know) and only the best at replicating it will nullify him. Hopkins isn't really that style but he was savvy enough to emulate it.

oh yeah, I forgot that one. both tall & big and both "go forward" type of guys.

this realy is a potential foty candidate

  8. Pavlik's a clumsy alcoholic who got the **** kicked out of him by the two best fighters he ever faced.

Abraham knocks his pale ass out in 5.

I don't know about fixed but it can definitely be improved. There are some good conditioning coaches out there that can improve his speed and explosiveness.

I don't know how you can beat alcoholism that fast, but I hope he got things together and comes back strong. There are still some good things for him to accomplish out there, he just needs to give his best effort and focus.

The chances of Pavlik ever making 160 again are very slim.

pre-Betty there was a lot of talk that another stab at 160 was the short-term goal. :think

f*ck that a-hole. He f'd up the pac-margo card with some BS excuse.

I used to like him. But he peaked after the Taylor fight and he ain't getting better with his YMCA trainer.

Dude needs to quit and leave while he's in good health.

You don't "beat" alcoholism. That's not how it works. You simply learn not to drink.
