Good for him, he should make 168 pound division his new home. He should take a tune up first then fight Kessler if his vision is back 100%.

i see it the exact opposite, without the extra weight gain from drinking constantly, making 160 should be easier. Before he was burning off normal added weigth in between fights, plus the amount of booze he was taking in. should be easier to make 160 without a drinking problem.

no according to his nuthuggers, every/anytime i or anyone else mention pavliks name along with another trainer they flip out and tell us how leow is world class and then they bring out the bad points of the trainers mentioned.

Pavlik is a busted flush, he will come back only to be a decent name on the resume of some young buck on the way up. Or for Bute to keep busy while waiting for the Super 6 to finish.

I will be surprised if Pavlik can ever make an impact in boxing again.

gotcha. look, sometimes a trainer can only take you so far. I think we've seen the limits of Jack Loew's abilities. I know they mentioned that the cuts in the Martinez fight also played a big part in his loss since he couldn't see and his cutman was a friend they were trying to help out, but giving helping hands to hometown friends isn't going to benefit Kelly and I think he could do better with a different trainer.

Hope to watch him in the ring soon. Personally I'd like to see him against AA - but I don't think either of them can do the 160 anymore.

People give him a tough time because he was THE MW champ and is extremely flawed. I don't think he can win the Ring belt at SMW but outside the top 5, I don't have any SMW as a big favorite against him. I think he could beat Bika, Andrade, or Johnson. I think he would beat AA and Stieglitz. Just keep him away from speed and lateral movement and he will have a fine comeback.

Good luck to KP. I hope he comes back in both life and in the ring.

actually, boo has been pretty outspoken about diaz having a more central role. its also real hard to blindly support loew when mike pavlik has discussed a new approach and cam dunkin is throwing kenny adams' name around.
