Kelly Pavlik is done.

For all the **** he takes here, Jack Loew was the ONLY person I heard before the SS giving props to Dirrell and telling people not to overlook him. Don't think Jack and Kelly go into a fight with Dirrell unaware.

 

Time will tell us about Pavlik, he has a lot of ring rust.............

 

Im ready for whatever fight they throw at Pavlik, I dont think he should jump into a super major fight, but his instincts will come back to him and will be able to hang with all those fighters named!

And as long as he stays with Jack Loew you might as well put the L on his record now. Loew, a great guy, isn't a great trainer. Pavlik needs to learn and grow into a better fighter, but he's not. He looks the same, and in this case, actually worse than before.

Do you get the feeling that a majority of people/things/whatever posting to this site really aren't boxing fans?

 

Most are biased and dont give credit when credit is due! Pavlik is an exciting fighter regardless of where your from!

 

I've always been fascinated by a couples of points regarding Pavlik at 168.

1) Pavlik is **** at 168, and can't handle any of the top guys.

2) Prior to the star of the S-6 nearly every top fighter in the division built his reputation fighting Pavlik's left overs, or fighters who weren't as good as Pavlik's left overs. The difference is Pavlik beat them first, and beat them worse.

It's simply amazing that so few people see the contradiction.
