Yeah, been posted before. Just waiting to see who he takes on next. He is expecting one more step up before being back in the thick of things.
Great to hear it, he needs to be slowly built back up an this is the right way to do it. For the most part all the FNF's fighters are tough guys and good boxers...
Garcia is quickly building a stable of decent fighters. Recently picked up Maidana also. I can only guess at Top Ranks reasons for picking him over a lot of others. Maybe it's as simple as they had a place to loan Kelly nearby and it was far from Youngstown. Roach was out because of Jr since TR was dangling that fight in front of Kelly.
they will go for someone too good too soon I wish they would take it proper and slow but that big check they will not resist. Hopefully they take progressively stronger guys and Pavlik gets in better and better form. More likely is a decent but very beatable FNF opponent and then a star at 68 on Showtime or HBO, immediately. Which carries a great risk of losing simply because its too soon.
He's been fighting since 9. Well, at least in the ring. His reasoning is that training takes its toll too. Why put your self through the training if you aren't going to make the most of it.
He needs the "bum" treatment, behaved like a right **** pulling out of the fight before, he needs to prove himself again, prove that he still wants to box, that his heart is still in it. The arrogance he showed about getting paid $50,000 was disrespectful to his opponent and to the people around him, **** Pavlik, the world doesn't owe him a living.
