Kelly Pavlik June 8th FNF Fights

Last time they tried to get Pavlik to step up to fast to soon that did not work out so good. Pavlik don't want to cash out he wants to become champion again. If he wanted to cash out he could have fought Bute. Pavlik said he don't need the money and if they don't play the way Pavlik likes he can make things awkward, he has done it before.

Pavlik basicly said he will retire if his career is not managed the way he wants it to be managed. He said its not about the money anymore.

I like Pavlik and I think he could become a beltholder at the weight. Bute is going for Ward or bust after Froch, and that'll leave 2 of the 4 major belts vacant if Ward continues to duck Bute. Bute will move up and Ward will be stripped for ducking Tony D.
So realistically Pavlik could fight T Dirrel or Stevenson or ERod for a vacant belt or go after Steiglitz for the BO. All winnable fights if he's right in the head.
My guess is that he'll be rushed back though, get an artificial ranking in the WBA and get a payday vs Ward. He'll be clowned like Froch was and prolly hit the bottle then or when he stupidly moves back to 160 to fight Taylor then get KTFO by Chavez.:-(
