Outclassed Lockett was twice dumped on the canvas in the second round by rights to the head and again in the third. Calzaghe's father Enzo, who is also Lockett's trainer, threw in the towel to end the fight. Pavlik's promoter Bob Arum is now in talks with British counterpart Frank Warren about undisputed world super-middleweight champion Calzaghe facing the world No.1 middleweight Pavlik.Calzaghe, also the world No.1 at light-heavyweight after - out pointing Bernard Hopkins in April, would face Pavlik at super-middleweight, possibly in Las Vegas on October 18.Pavlik picked up 2.5m for beating Lockett but would expect a bigger payday if a deal can be struck to face Calzaghe.He said: "Calzaghe would be a great fight.
