Hey Pavlik fan, I see a lot of people especially on that vindy site...in the comments alot of people say Kelly struggles with booze? This is not true? I'm asking b/c i really don't know and you seem to be in the know.

Also as a rationale Pavlik fan, what could Kelly do to improve as a fighter??? relocate camps. new trainer or advisor. He is still struggling with the same problems as a fighter and not improving as a boxer. Something has to change.

no it is not true i have been saying this for a long time..not saying he did not used to go out with friends and drink because we all do that..there are so many rumors that i honestly would love to know what loser has the time to think of this ****. to improve as a fighter he has to stop changing things up in training. they tried to relocate camp and that didnt work, change trainers no i think that would do more harm than good. they even brought a nutritionist in this time..i think also it is getting hard to get to 160..i think if he fights again he will do the rematch and then go up in wt.

everybody says we r making exscuses about pavlik getting beat. we acknoledge he got his butt kicked. we all praise martinez for his good job in the ring. we just are making state \ments what went wrong for pavlik. none the less he got his butt kick out boxed what ever u wanna call it. hopefully he will take his career more seriously for now on and get back to the warrior we know him to be.

 

How much does he drink? I'm not trying to be an a-hole here, but it's almost as if he does not have a drinking problem, his fight future is bleaker than if does have a drinking problem and he can get a handle on it.... Does that make sense? Cutting out alcohol in my life made me drop 15 lbs. in a hurry, and it's never come back. He really looked physically off @ the weigh in and look how big around the middle he was during the fight.

 

I don't think anybody is targeting you so much as people are targeting Booradley. In his initial post he basically gave several paragraphs of things that Pavlik didn't do and basically turned on him and there was little to nothing of what Sergio did do. Basically it's coming off as doing months of analysis and coming out completely wrong and instead of backing his guy(maybe not anymore?) he kinda throws him under the bus as an excuse for his missed analysis...at least that's how it come across especially after trashing other people's thoughts leading up to the fight.

Furthermore, why it's targeted more at Booradley than you is because Booradley in this thread and other threads is really discrediting Martinez' win when he says things like "Hopkins would have KO'd him in 5" or that the current Jeff Lacy would beat up on the Pavlik of Saturday, etc.

 

yeah i know but alot of people are saying u pavlik fans, I know their not singleing me out personally. boo and hermit are big pavlik supporters they watch alot of boxing and have really good posts so just like every one else they are wrong from time to time and people act like they know nothing about boxing. well they know alot more than most of the posters on here. Boo simply stated why pav lost and didnt mention y sergio won, well he is not posting y sergio won he is posting y pavlik lost. but he did say sergio did a great job he took nothing away from him being the better fighter.

 

Boo were you considering slashing your wrists during that fight?
