even if he wins againt b-hop, bernards gonna make it an ugly ass fight which is gonna make kelly look horrible.....not only that, but at light heavyweight, it's gonna be almost impossible to make 160 again...

if he makes it and my boy arthur abraham ko's his ass, i can already see the excuses of weight problems....:-( :-( :-(

Arthur KO's Pavlik regardless of whether he moves up to 170/175 or not. :deal

It will be an ugly fight, but Pav shouldn't have too hard of a time winning. All he has to do is stay active and he'll outpoint Hop. I wouldn't put a nickle on Abe either.

Can't help but think Pavlik is the new great white hype job - until he is proven I will remain very dubious!

I can;t take anything away from his Taylor wins, although the first he was put down and second was very close, but other than that? a weight drained Miranda and Lockett? erm.... P4P? no.

AA vs KP surely is a fight I will not bet money on. As for the weight difference; I don't think it is that much of a deal, even though KP seems more natural in the lower weight class.
I always ask myself: How can KP have so much power while being so relativly skinny.

Agree that A.A. will KO Pavlik. Also agree that Hopkins is going to make this a very unappealing fight for Pavlik. Depending on the odds, I'd put $ on Hopkins to win in an upset. I wouldn't be surprised to see Pavlik hit the canvas same as Calzaghe, though I imagine he and his camp will study that tape very closely to learn from Calzaghe's mistakes.

Pavlik has fought at 170 before, and then fought at 160 five weeks later. He has fought above the SMW limit a total of 5 times.

This is a bad move for Kelly for sure but imagine if he could somehow KO the great Hopkins.

There have been to many skinny sluggers in the game to mention them all. The guy in my avatar was arguably the hardest hitting featherweight of all time. Ever heard of a cat named Alexis Arguello? How about a young Tommy Hearns? Skinny power punchers get their power from leverage/technique.

kelly has knocked out a few who has said they were never knocked out and imo i think this is going to be hopkins first time he is knocked out..and yes kelly has fought at 170 before and has no problems...he walks around at 170-175...hopkins will be in for a ass whipping if kelly can get hopkns be fore all the holding...and also imo hopkins is just in it for the money and no matter how old u are if you dont have the heart anymore your done

Yeah but was it against someone that can puch like Abraham.

I agree with Freddy this is a bad move. He should fight another bum at 160 and then fight Abraham, then he can move up.

Calzaghe walks around at 190lbs but that don't mean **** for a higher weight of boxing.
