Kelly Pavlik - more innocent than appears regarding the pull out

I could see being pissed going from 275k to to 50k. Ghost didn't win that fight cleanly though.
I actually gave if to Lopez by one point. Remember after Hopkins fight bernard said
something to kelly like "don't let this fight destroy you". It did to some degree. However
after all the **** he went through I surprised kelly would **** on the fans like that. If 50
grand is an insult prove it in the ring. Cause there were moments during Lopez fight when
I was thinking ghost might be shot. Haha I could use the money throw me in there. Just
kidding I like pavlik I do but he should know better. I mean if we all know that hbo is
more lucrative than showtime why is kelly acting like he doesnt

 

There is not enough information for me to believe Pavlik's side of the story. Until futher development, I think this has much more to do than being pissed about money.

Kelly Said he didnt recieve a Contract until late last week, and they offered 50000 for Cunningham fight, and 1.35 mil for fight with BUTE. onlt had 20 hrs to turn it in or the fight was off. KELLY said this has happened to him his whole career and he is sick of it! If he would have knew 2-3 weeks earlyer what they were offering he would have cancelled the fight then!

Kelly wanted to fight BUTE in Monteral only for the fact that there would have been more money involved, seeing that 20000 plus people would be there. Then they offer 1.35 mil. Kelly said he would have fought BUTE IN ATLANTIC CITY for 1.1 MIL because He Knows he would have to KNock BUTE OUT 20 times to get the win up there because your not going to win a desision in Monteral.

Kelly also said He would rather fight "Tune UP" fights for 200000 a piece and wait until Carl Froch opens up since he is the #1 WBC contender.

I support kelly on this deal, He feels TOP RANK WAS CASHING IN ON KELLY!!! Giving up on him, and Kelly Wants to fight!

So I guess he will sit a year and sign with someone else...

Top Rank was screwing Pavlik around you can't let them get away with that. Sometimes you have to put your foot down and make people respect you cause if you don't they never will.

 

Has Pavlik's side of the story been confirmed as true???
