He's fighting for AA's old title.

It's an awesome day where I live. I'm gonna go ride my Harley! Just traded my 1975 shovelhead for a 1990 Sportster that's all souped up. FUN BIKE!!!

    Catch ya later.

Kelly Pavlik is the undisputed middleweight champ of the world with a hometown fanbase. Pavlik has WAY more options than Williams does. Williams needs Pavlik, not vice versa.

I don't know who had the date, but the Pavlik camps original date was Oct.3-Now if that was just for a PW fight?

A fanbase in Yougstown, Ohio. One of the leading cities in america when it comes to poverty. No offense to the folks of Ohio. But that doesn't sound very appealing.

I hope Pavlik gets to fight Paul Williams. The fight will be a war and it should tell us how Williams takes a big punch at 160 against a big puncher.

Kind of funny to have to find out if you can take a Middleweight punch in a Championship fight against a big puncher.

Winky Wright wasn't a big puncher, Williams hasn't fought anyone at 154 or above that's a big puncher, Margarito may've been the best puncher he fought so far. Williams can take a good punch at welterweight, he took Wright's well, but Pavlik is a different story.

Exactly, Margo was the biggest puncher he faced. I can't believe HBO is going to spend all this Money on this fight not knowing if PW can take a true MW punch. I seen PW freeze up when it by Welterweights.

Yes, that's why it's either going to be a war, or Williams getting KO'd. Given Williams's lanky body, I don't doubt the latter happening. But if he can avoid Pavlik's big shots and get comfortable it's going to be a good fight for Williams. It'll be a good fight for the fans regardless of the outcome.

I just have seen nothing that makes me believe he can take KP's punch nor do I think his defense is that good where he can avoid KP all night.

:lol:I told y'all Pavlik asked for P-Will b/c he needed him. Plain and simple. Now he gets a big fight on HBO. Team Pavlik should thank Haymon and Goosen for the fight.

Well, these guys, they nit-picked and played and horsed around for weeks and they would up getting more and more and more. And again, true to his word,' That's OK, just get me the fight.' So Kelly's a real fighter and these other guys want to play businessman and all that and string everybody along. If Kelly was a crybaby, believe me, this fight wouldn't have been made, at all. Not even close."

 The actions of a man with little options. PW had the DZ fight so he had options and could walk away. Kelly's option was a top rank PPV. You Pavlickers should thank this WW that he gave KP a chance.
