Abraham's thriving, he said all along he'd fight Pavlik in America but was met with silence for a long time, where's Pavlik faking life threatening injuries and fighting nobodies:deal
Pavlik is largely responsible for how badly Taylor sucks today, having beaten the holy living hell out of him twice and destroying his confidence. He moved up 10 pounds to fight Hopkins, which is a bit of a stretch when you're facing the number 4 p4p fighter. And he nearly died from that infection he had, so you know he missed a bit of training. He offered to push the Williams fight back 2 weeks but WILLIAMS said no and chose to fight Martinez instead. I think they'll meet 3-4 months from now, they just wanted to fight close together so they'd both be ready for each other. Williams hadn't fought since April so he didn't want the fight pushed back any farther than it already had been. Either way you look at it, Pavlik did NOT duck Williams. Williams had every opportunity to fight Pavlik, but didn't want to wait another two weeks.
I find it amazing that the fact that he was beaten by an ATG in Hopkins who was about 15 pounds heavier than him, is supposed to be proof of him getting "exposed"!
Not only Pavlik but the 2 fights with Hopkins plus the Winky fight took a toll on Jermaine Taylor both physically and mentally. I think Pavlik is a great puncher but yes in my opinion he is a bit overrated due to the HBO hype machine. I'd love to see him fight Arthur Abraham, I think that fight would be a classic.
Abraham also offered to fight Sturm for FREE. Sturm accepted... I don't remember the fight. I really don't give a flying tihs about smack talk. What did they REALLY do to make this fight happen? Run up a record against folks that sent HBO looking elsewhere?
pavlik has been traumitized by the brutal schooling b-hop put him through, he'll fight someone credible when someone gets him out of his fetal position lol.
Team Pavlik really has their act together. You can take the rednecks out of the trailer park, but....... YOUNGSTOWN Michael Pavlik, the older brother of middleweight boxing champ Kelly Pavlik, faces a charge of felony domestic violence and abduction. Pavlik voluntarily turned himself in to police early today. He is charged related to a Friday incident with an acquaintance. According to a police report, Pavlik and a 33-year-old woman became involved in a physical altercation at a Cornell Street home just before midnight. The woman told police Pavlik punched her in the eye, threw her into a coffee table and dragged her across the floor. The woman said the fight continued Saturday with more physical confrontation. Pavlik is expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Youngstown Municipal Court. Often cited as a member of Team Pavlik, Michael has worked as cornerman, team coordinator and media handler for his brothers boxing enterprise.
okay....now your next thread now need to be "Mikkel Kessler the hype job" Schooled By Ward, too scared to leave his country and fight a elite supermiddleweight cause if he does,he will be easily beaten & embarrased like he was against Ward a guy that kessler had more then twice as much experience then.. Kessler best win was against......I dont even know who??..because hes been beating up on bums for so long..his greatest accomplisment so far in his career was "LOSING" to "The most overrated fighter of all time" The wheels have come off the hype train surely...:deal You made a thread for Pavlik..So i had to make one for Kessler..cause it works both ways "The Imfamous MR.PR"
Since he was sporting the Haye avvie I thought he was probably a Brit trying to discredit Pavlik to make us forget Joe ran from him like a frightened little girl.
