Just read a interview with Kelly Pavlik were he says he wants to stay middleweight for a while after he beats Taylor because he wants to fight Arthur Abraham and Felix Strum before moving up to fight Calzaghe.:good

I guess a fight with Arthur Abraham would be interesting, but not with Felix Sturm. The better competition right now is at Super Middleweight. I really hope to see him move up there when he beats Taylor.

I call BS. How fuking long does he think that Joe is going to be around??? Long enough for him to lose to Taylor then rebuild a few fights, beat Abraham and Strum and then go after Joe. that will take three years, and Joe is going on 36 now

Good news. I can't WAIT until Pavlik DESTROYS that fraud Taylor. The suits at HBO won't be able to get him a gift decision this time!! :-(

It will be great to have a decent MW champ, who relies on his OWN judges - his fists - not HBOs. :nod

You have to wonder if Pavlik can hold the weight at 160 though with the way his frame is. I'd be surprised if he doesn't have to move up within the next year or two.

Ditto Paul Williams at Welter. Those guys are still young, but you move into your upper 20s and it gets harder to stay that lean.

im a pavlik fan but come on your being way to harsh on taylor. He had two fights with hopkins and then fought winky. Those are not easy opponents to look good against. SAme thing with cory spinks.
