Taylor, because of the loss, has a major mountain to climb.

I think Pavlik may brutalize him worse than in the 1st fight, if thats possible.

In his 10 year reign he beat 7 Americans, an Australian, a Paraguayan, an Egyptian, a Kenyan and five British guys ( including Chris Eubank)....and these other Euro Bums you mention were either other belt holders or mandatories that every boxer has to fight to keep his belt.....such as Veit who was like 6 feet 5 or something, but he only fough 3 europeans in WBO title defences so why people assume Joe fought Euro bums is beyond me

And I like Pavlik anyway......but Joe simply outclasses him unless he gets knocked out which nobody has done up to yet

Why does joe have to brought up every ****ing time? Give pavlik his props. Hes the Champ. By constantly comparing all it does is make you look like a damn nuthugger.

The guy before bought it up dude......gotta set the record straight when punks diss a legitimate non-US legend......

Pavlik is limited end of story.

Taylor UD or early KO.....its better for boxing that the better fighter wins in this fight....Jermain is classy and has to win....

Joe's been on his arse before & KP would put him there again. He has nothing to hurt Pavlik with as far as KO power & should Pavlik find his mark & he somehow always (90%+) does, he'll finish him.

I simply don't understand how you Calzaghe fans think he would beat Kelly.

Anyway, answer me this if you care to. I remember coming to this forum & hearing all kinds of negative stuff about Joe & ALL of it was coming from guys in the UK & Europe. Can't remember the specifics, but he was really being slammed. Then he beats an overrated Jeff Lacey & is immediately on everyones P4P list. Thats what I'll remember about JC's legacy.

Oh really now? A minute ago you said you liked Kelly. Now he's no good for boxing?

    Good bye.

Yeah he was never that popular until very recently over in the UK......when he fought his early defences against other Brits e.g Starrie and Thronberry he was booed during his entrance and people didnt like his style.........but some people have watched him through the majority of his career and I happen to think that all the Lacy win did was practically introduce him to US fans cos he'd never been on TV.....if I hadnt seen someone on TV before and then heard he was a p4p top tenner I'd be sceptical too....however nobody has exposed him as of yet have they??

and yeah salem and mitchell put him on his butt but he won both times...we all know a wounded animal is dangerous and Joe goes toe to toe with anyone...even massive hitters like Kessler or Pavlik dont scare him

He's right. I brought up the Calzaghe name. Seeing that guys avatar & just knowing he thinks JC would slap around Kelly makes me sick.

I'l try to contain myself in the future. No sense wasting more time on another guy KP would simply KO.

    :good

By saying that you must be on HBO's payroll because they are the only ones who loved him so much that they gave him so many "gift" decisions. So a guy named Pavlik comes in and destroys him and Taylor,"Gift Intentions" is still better for the sport. Hmm. Interesting. To each his own though. :good

So you honestly think that Taylor has less skill and ability than Pavlik???

And I meant that its good for boxing in the sense that the champions should be the best boxers in the world.....
