Very smart move. There is no point in killing himself to make 160 again in a rematch martinez would stop him. There's a lot of big money fights to be made at 168 I think pavlik can at least be a solid contender in that division.

 

If he's not in the ring with Bute by this time next year, he should be written off entirely.

 

Pavlik gets violated by any of the S6 or Bute. Theyll have to do some very careful matchmaking to find him some credibility at 168.

 

It depends on how many times he fights at the weight. I think he needs at least 2 before dreaming of fighting lucian.

I say he should fight someone like Brinkley in his first fight. Hes high ranked and pretty low risked considering he's not a top 10 fighter. Then he should fight Bika or Andrade then the Bute fight.

 

Whats the point of the rematch really? He lost clearly and would lose again. Martinez doesnt need him and the fight isnt important really. It's actually for the best since Martinez can move on to other fighters nd Pavlik can move up and try to get his career back on track.
