What because I think they are both hard chargers...maybe the Nigel Benn thing was rude, but the fact is most of those one round KOs McCellan has came against nobodies, John Mugabi excepted. I'm being polite...do the same.

He was 32, only three years off that draw against Eubank...how shot can you get in three years? He wasn't fighting like he was Gatti. He had nothing to be ashamed of in the McCellan fight like Mancini or Baer who actually killed their opponents. So how'd he get so shot?

    I'm a big Collins fan.

Believe me, Benn was shot; he was already starting to slur a bit in his speech.:deal

Pavlik doesn't have what it takes to overcome a KO loss to McClellan. Bad defence, is slow and would have a hard time boxing or brawling with McCllean. G-Man KOs him with a left hook to the body.

do you have any ****ing idea what you're talking about?

after the g-man bout the man was a ****ing mental wreck who was only getting into the ring for the money. him almost killing the g-man forced benn to attempt to take his life and the fight itself ruined his body.

the damage benn took that night (whilst nowhere near as bad as geralds) is often overlooked.

benn was finished after that night in 1995.

do some research into this or STFU, your choice.

Can't see the current version of Pavlik beating McClellan. In fact he'd be lucky to last more than a few rounds with a prime G-Man. McClellen had quicker hands, better mobilty, a superior jab, better punch resistance and more power.

But Pavlik at 26 is still young and may not be even in his prime yet. Who's to say Pavlik could not improve and go on to prove he has the kind of heart and desire that resulted in Benn ending McClellans career.

McClellan is overrated. He beat two name guys who were taylor made for him and one of those was ruined. Pavlik is the better boxer and wouldn't fold in a single round. Pavlik would force McClellan to fight on the backfoot in the same way he did Miranda. When that happens, Pavlik would start to dismantle McClellan with his underrated body attack and superior jab.

Pavlik would win in about 11 rounds.

I fighter can be ruined in one fight. Look at fighters like Meldrick Taylor, David Reid, Jeff Lacy. These fighter were not even in their 30's and one fight ruined them. Benn had already had a number of wars and having the mother of all battles against probably the hardest puncher of his generation, it's not suprising he was never the same again.

Watched the Benn/McCellelan fight again after emailing some friends for some clips...I take back the Benn comment...still, I think Pavlik wins. "I love how Pavlik hype him" without proof is what you say. You say, "has no defense"...look closer...notice how those half blocks really do deflect the power of EVERY heavy hitter he's faced. I think it would hold true again with Gerald. Oh, dumb means someone who doesn't talk, not stupid...which anyone obviously you are. Pavlik has a lot going for him the fight. He doesn't go down hard like Mugabi. As a matter of fact, I think it's Pavlik in 10. He'll be hurt, but his stamina (his very underrated tool that has gotten him through ALOT) would outlast Mac. For a Guru, you sure can't hold a polite argument.
