Probably GGG. Pavlik got hit too clean too often. Not enough upper body movement. I think he'd have a tough time with GGG's constant pressure, body attack, and power. Not to say Pavlik couldn't crack bc he most certainly could....it'd be exciting either way. GGG inside 6.
Golovkin hasn't fought anyone anywhere near as good as a prime Pavlik at the pro level. He beats Pavlik based on what, his KO victory over Rubio who was KOd by Jantuah in like 30 seconds?
I don't like Kelly's chances here on 2 counts- he wasn't afraid to get hit, and he was an attrition fighter (he could crack, but it usually took a few rounds for him to break a guy down). That combination just doesn't match well with someone that has the power, chin, and finishing ability of Golovkin, who is also the more refined fighter. Kelly was a big Middleweight and could take a punch, but GGG is a different level of puncher. I don't think Pavlik's chin holds up. It'd be a war while it lasted, but I think it ends with Pavlik going out on his shield.
If Pavlik had kept his life together, we could have been looking to this fight NOW! Its amazing to think, but Pavlik is only 3 days older than GGG
The pale 'Ghost' would have GGG staggering around the ring like Pavlic on a Saturday night drinking binge.
Good Boy by brutal knockout. The same ppl that are picking Pavlik to win this are the same ones that hated on him back in the day, they just hate to see a white fighter at the top.
I'm sure this isn't the first time this thread has been done but anyway, GGG KO I think. I think he's tougher and a more skilled fighter.
atsch Jakeoarrreeee....... I dunno man, I think Pavlik would get them staggered drunken knees wobbled pretty early on.
