If Pavlik couldn't hit you with that right hand, he wasn't going to win. Golovkin has superb defense, and is very hard to set up shots on. Unless you think he has won almost 400 contests on punching power alone :nut
Pavlik was always a limited fighter and not even in the same league as Golovkin to be honest. Yes, he did defeat bigger names than Golovkin, but "resume" is never going to win you a fight. This would probably end with Golovkin knocking him out mid rounds with outboxing Pavlik in the process. In fact, several guys Golovkin beaten in the amateurs would be favored over Pavlik as well.
