KELLY PAVLIK vs AARON JACO RBR

Jaco and KP do have a common opponent. I just noticed Jaco beat Rico Cason. That's the only name I recognize.

 

:huh I thought he always had a pretty good left hook, when he gets up on ya.

 

I didn't know that name, but did recognize Chad Van Sickle (who stopped him) and Hilario Guzman - a professional loser who got outpointed twice by Jaco, sandwiched between two points losses to Danny Green.

 

Chad Van Sickle is a glorified toughguy contest level fighter. He comes to fight, is raw as hell, slow as molasses, D-level defense, etc.. he beats guys who have no heart and no confidence.

Jaco losing to Van Sickle shows he's just not that good, but that was 6+ years ago.. Jaco quit boxing because he knew if he couldn't beat a Van Sickle.. what's the point.. you either collect money to get your faced bashed in and lose, or get a real job.

He's going back to that real job now.

The only "good" thing about this fight is that Kelly didn't kill him and have people crying for the abolition of boxing in the USA or make the pros fight under amateur rules.

Nobody knows yet.

Everybody's in the same boat, waiting for it to show up on Youtube.

 

None of us have seen more than pics, but he had a KD in the first and ended it in the first minute of the second with a left hand.
