entertaining fight while it lasts...but it will end with kelly stopping him. should this actually happen, and it very well may, margo's corner better not let this continue once it gets out of hand b/c kelly would genuinely hut him
only if kelly is badly drained would this go to the cards. kelly at top form at 160...no one can stand in front of him and trade and make it to the final bell. margo's bravery will be his undoing and he'll get painfully stopped.
According to a short article on the front page, when Tony woke up from surgery his first question was; "When can I start running?" The guy still has something to offer the sport. He can rematch Cotto, and if he wins, he could make a few title defenses against some of the young guns, and then retire with his head held high. What Pavlik has left remains to be seen. If he wants to continue fighting, he needs to take advantage of the contractual stipulation that would allow him to reschedule the Vera fight, but change the weight to a full 168. (A weight Vera would be fine with.) After that, go after Steiglitz. Any half decent version of KP would beat the hell out of Steiglitz. Afterward, see what's up with the rest of the division, and move accordingly. Antonio Margarito and Kelly Pavlik do not need each other, and it would be an incredibly stupid move on Arum's part. What the **** happens to Margo if a fully focused, 100% healthy Kelly Pavlik shows up?!!? What happens to Pavlik if something goes wrong, and he struggles against a fat welterweight? Stupid idea for a fight, and clear evidence that the TS has very little common sense.
