Maybe you didnt read his quote correctly but he also said Abraham over Miranda too. And anyone who isnt stupid fanboy would see that Miranda's power was on another level during the fight, then abraham of course. Abraham has more speed than pavlik but I dont think he hits harder, he just gets off quicker and sometimes that can be even more dangerous. Only way to find out is have them fight, or maybe you can ask Miranda in the meantime if its abraham or pavlik who hits harder.
People tend to forget Miranda in all reality beat Abraham, but a win in Germany is honestly near impossible. He was also out boxed in his last fight then saved by a early stoppage.
no, pavlik is not the hardest puncher at mw and smw(!). it's just strange how people make him the biggest puncher around just because he knocked out miranda and taylor. sure he has power but he usually needs more than one punch to end a fight. i think it's crazy to compare his punching power to let say kessler. abraham would have finished miranda if he hadn't had a double broken jaw. what would pavlik have done if that had happened to him? so just because pavlik finished miranda and abraham didn't doesn't mean abraham has less power.
Abraham can hurt Pavlik like Taylor did, but Pavlik has the reach. If Arthur goes to the Ghost's body, he could win, Pavlik needs to keep him at a distance.
You said in another thread that you didn't know Pavlik so how can you judge this?? Pavlik by UD. AA isnt getting knocked out...never...
most likely ending... :hat ...if Abraham can't stop him he will lose by decision to Pavlik - he is just too inactive over the whole 3 min of a round...
Back to the debate over one-punch power, I agree with Tom_Tocca. Abraham hits harder with single punches in my opinion.
Pavlik KOs AA easily. A relentless beating would wear down AA who does have heart but in a worn out and beaten state he would get brutally KOed. AA has nothing on Pavlik. Kelly is better than him in every way. Other than German judges AA has ZERO advantage.
abraham is one of the more overrated guys in this forum. and now he hits harder than pavlik and miranda! please stick miranda and pavlik in against guys like gevor, and they'd most likely KO him cold as well.
Pavlik by accumulation TKO or wide decision. Pavlik presses for full rounds, Abraham sits in the pocket for the first two minutes and then starts throwing punches in the last minute. All that time when Abraham isn't throwing punches, he'll still be taking punishment. Abraham just isn't as well conditioned as Pavlik, so unless he catches Pavlik coming in, I can't really see him winning this one. Abraham does have a great chin though. Then again, so did Zertuche.
I completely agree with you Cooke. Pavlik/Abraham will probably happen next fall, if, and that is a BIG IF, if Abraham gets past his next mandatory which is most likely Zuniga. Pavlik/Abraham won't even be competetive. I've watched every little piece of tape I can find of AA, and McKart is a better boxer, Taylor is stronger, Miranda hits harder, Zertuche is just as tough, Zuniga is more skilled in just about every way, and all those guys got Pavlikated!! It's a great fight for Kelly since he has already said he wants all the titles, but it's Arthur's worst nightmare come true. Boo
Abraham has a decent chin but he has some bad habits like covering up and backing straight up and some times not being active enough. Against Pavlik that means big trouble and most likely a tko loss.
Pavlik is primetime..you dare compare a Eurobum like Abraham..He'll ****ing beat him to a living death
